    This meal is advertised on TV but not available at the kfc restaurant in Fenton, MI. The ad on TV doesn't exclude any retaurants in the US, therefore it is false advertising. I tried to purchase this meal and was told that the ad was corporate... so why advertise? What a farce!


    Kfc where should I start

    I love kfc always have.

    I stayed in traverse city, Michigan this weekend. This is my 4 visit to this kfc and they were great. Polite and helpful. Suggested a meal that would work for us (an extra side plus more chicken) for the same price as the one I was going to get. The girl at the window (the one who took my order) was polite and asked if I needed butter and honey (which my hubby always asks for and I forget to get)! The food was hot and fresh!

    The only reason I decided to actually write this now is when I was looking fir coupons (guess I didn't need them since I did get a good deal holiday feast) I ran across this site with such negative responses.

    This is by far the best kfc I hav been to so far.

    I have been to a buch of different ones throughout the state this is the first one in a long time who asked if we needed the items. Usually they don't well the ones I have been to.




    Best Service in Town

    Last time I had such exceptional service, it was in a restaurant that served swordfish and didn't have prices on the menu. I was shocked to find that level of customer service at a fast food place, especially in this town.

    I would like to say that I went to kfc today 11/18 and the experience was very nice unlike the ones I had in the past. they recently hired a new manager named angel he was very pleasant and polite and respectful and greeting me as soon as I walked in. they actually had all the food made on the shelfs and all employees were doing what they were suppose to. the girl behing the counter her namewas jamina was very polite and respectful as well. they gave me veryquick and clean and courtious service which was nice for a changer instead of that paula girl that used to be there. yous made the right move by putting this very clean cut respectful courtious kind gentleman and very nice and clean and courtiuos woman behind the counter.. I hope it will help sales they are very nice people...i am glad to see I can continue to go back there several times a week...also I would like to say the girl I spoke with when I original signed the complaint I believe her name was carlyn she was great.. she was very polite and respectful and wanted to accommodate me in every way possibl. I'm glad she took care of the situation..there should be more people like these 3 in the world...i give you 3 a 5 star rating...you top 10 with me...thankyou very much for your time and help. happy holidays


    Where's the Chicken?

    Went to get the eight piece meal. Got home and there were four wings, four wings out of eight pieces. We called and the manager said we were told there were not legs, no we were not I told her. She was going to send us a coupon to get a meal. That never came. Nice way to cheapen a meal. We would not go back. What a way to run a business.

    When we went to our local KFC to use our coupons from the OPERA COUPON OFFER, we were told that they were out of the food offered and if we would like to purchase one it was feasible, and that they would send us a rebate coupon if we would fill out the required paper work. So we bought our dinner, then filled out the paper work. Guess what...we have never received our rebate coupon for 2 meals. Its not like we never purchase for our local KFC, we do at least once a week. So what gives here?

    When I went turn in my coupon from KFC I was not given the right order. I then went back in told them that I did not get the order that I ask for. The person who waited on me got so rude. She then ask me what the problem was. I explain to her that this was not what I orded, then came back with the same food. I gave up.


    Grilled Chicken Coupons

    I printed the coupons that were available in May. When I went to redeem the coupons for the free grilled chicken I was turned away, but advised to fill out a form that the store was supposed to have, but didn't. I asked for a form and was told by the manager (rudely) that I had to go on the KFC website and print my own form because her printer was out of ink. I asked her to sign my coupon. She did and stated that by her doing that it didn't mean anything. I told her that I would call corporate and was told go ahead.

    I like KFC chicken, especially the pot pies. I'm upset about the way she talked and treated me than about not getting the chicken, which I really did want to try.

    Are you open

    I have stopped at the drive thru window on my lunch break at Kentucky Fried chicken twice in the last two weeks and no one came to the window in 10 minutes. There was a car in fornt of me both times waiting for someone to take their order. I waited 10 minutes, and no one ever came to the window. I drove off leaving the car in front of me waiting for someone to come and take their order. Your losing customers. When I'm at lunch I do not have that much time to wait and I'm pretty sure the cars in front of me do not have that much time either. You have lost my business. There was only about 3 cars parked in the praking lot, so it wasn't that busy.

    If you need to hire help, please advertise it. I know people who need a job right now or you need to train you staff how to take orders at the window.


    Rainchecks for the free grilled chicken

    I went to KFC in Trenton, MI with my coupon for the free grilled dinner. After being treated rudely, I left with raincheck form to send in with my coupon to receive a raincheck to be used at a later date. I sent these in to KFC prior to May 19th. I have yet to see my raincheck. I will never eat at KFC again after the rude treatment. They wanted to advertise their new product, they did a poor job doing so.


    Rip Off Prices

    I went to the KFC on Hull Street Road, Midlothian, VA on Saturday 5/23/09 and ordered the 2 piece grilled chicken dinner w/2 sides and med drink. The price on the board said "lunch special $4.99 all day". What came up on the ticket was $6.59. The menu display board also had a price for the desert parfaits as $1.39, however the register rings up $1.49. Needless to say this is wrong.

    The manager Sarina stated that the registers pricing is correct and stated that the prices had changed a long time ago and no one updated the prices on the board. The manner in which she stated this was very demeaning. She then went to the board and ripped the 3 off of the price leaving $1._9 up on the board. She then stated she will not honor the price nor does she have to. There also seemed to be a racial issue involved. She made sure that she waited on people the same color as her before she would say anything to me.

    I did not get the parfaits.

    The price of the grilled chicken was another story. The price on the board clearly stated $4.99 and the receipt rang up $6.59 w/tax for $6.92. The manager had to make a big production of the fact that they weren't responsible for a register error. The error occurred because the employee who rang up the sale did not hit the button marked promotional discount.

    She did refund the difference in price, while she was doing this she and the cashier who rang up the order wrong started whispering back and forth and glancing back at me and laughing.

    I will not visit this store again and I urge consumers who do visit the store to check their receipts for accuracy. Specials aren't always what they seem.


    Poor customer service systems

    This is almost too annoying to post. I stopped for lunch today at a local kfc here in kc. on the back of the receipt, there is both phone and web contact information to do a survey. while I was generally satisfied with my food and service, it is this survey that was maddening. to begin the survey, you must place the store # in a box. the store # on the receipt clearly says store # 018....nothing more---nothing less. but the automated survey says this is invalid--store codes are 4-7 digits. calls to the store go unanswered. as I call a national customer service line, which I have on my speaker phone as I type---is not 22 minutes on hold and counting. this is customer service? don't promote a chance to Win on a survey if you can't deliver the survey!


    Lousy Food

    We got a bucket of your chicken, with side orders of cole slaw, and baked beans!!!
    The chicken had so much fat and grisle on it, even my dogs wouldn't eat it. The beans were pork and beans, no baked beans at all, the cole slaw was so runny, I had to drain it to dip it. I haven't had KFC in a few years, now I remember why.

    I will never buy that crap again. I would starve before I buy that lousy stuff. I guess Oprah's fat ass thinks everyone will eat crap...


    KFC Used Oprah And America

    As everyone across America knows, KFC refused to honor the coupons today. Customers were made to wait inline and only told at the register that they would not honor the coupon. The managers did not even post a note on the door or anything. So you wait in a long line for nothing and then people paid for their food because they had already made the trip. They used Oprah to get Americans in the door and once there people were frustrated and hungry so they bought food.

    KFC SUCKS and shame on Oprah for not getting something in writing and letting them take advantage of her.


    Very Poor Customer Service

    Went to my local KFC to get my free dinner with my Oprah coupon only to be treated like scum and was told my coupon was no good. I printed the damn thing off the computer just like everyone else did in the United States. I work in an industry where I have to give superior customer service all day long, only to be treated so poorly at an eatery.

    This was a horrible experience and will probable stay away from eating at KFC. Why should I eat where I am treated so poorly and like a criminal!


    My family and I was attacked by KFC employees!

    I went to KFC tonight with my family (husband, 3 kids) and a friend. They posted a sign that the free meal with the Oprah coupon was only valid for 1 chicken and 1 side. That was fine it didn't bother us much. So we waited in line, as we got our food, my friend asked for a biscuit that they forgot, the employee stated that we don't give away biscuits only chicken and a side. The employee gave her 3 chicken legs in her box, my friend kindly asked the employee of KFC to take back one leg for exchange for one biscuit, the employee snatched the box of food from my friend and took out the chicken but left one and said " Now you ain't getting nothing!" My friend pushed the KFC box and it fell on the floor. The employee got so angry she than ran around the counter trying to attacked my friend inside the restaurant in front of many witnesses. Her other employees held her back and than we walked out. As I was saying good-bye to my friend and walking towards my van to help my husband put my kids in the car.

    That same employee ran outside the KFC yelling and cursing a storm, she than started punching and pulling my friends hair, I came trying to pull her away, she threw some blows and hit me a few times and my right hand is badly swollen and bruised from blocking her punches. Than another employee came running towards me and my friend punching and swinging at us. Witnesses tried to hold back the 2 KFC employees, and my husband called the cops! The cops came got a police report and everyone left! But I'm not done with them, those girls need to loose their job and they should of got arrested for assault / battery, the District Attorney will hear this story.

    Basically we were not attacked by just any girls, but girls who worked for Kentucky Fried Chicken, in their uniforms, who ran outside during business hours to attack customers! What is this world coming to? I learned my lesson that a free meal is not worth getting attacked by 2 angry KFC employees!


    Great Bridge Store Staff

    While visiting the Great Bridge store on April 26 at 6:45 pm I waited 20 minutes behind a young lady to place my order. This lady had ordered $40 of food and had been waiting 45 minutes. She finally asked for her money back because she could wait no longer. The store manager refused to refund her money and called her a B***CH. I then chose not to order anything as did others and left the store. The next day I went in to get a phone number for a manager and waited 10 minutes past the opening time before they unlocked the doors. Several customers were there as well. When the customers tried to order food they were told the food would not be ready for another 15 minutes and then left. I contacted the regional manager and she claimed she would check into it and call me back.

    Never did she apologize for the lack of customer service. She has still not called back. I then went up the street to the Farm Fresh Grocery Store, purchased great chicken from nice people for less money. Go figure.


    KFC Too Expensive For What You Get

    Hello,

    I would just like to say that I have not eaten at a KFC for many many yrs. First, there was a time I went to one and asked for white meat. I got a breast and a leg. I argued with this lady that a leg IS NOT white meat and she says "I can show you in the book that it is" I really got [mad] and she finally just gave me the 2 breasts I had asked for anyway. KFC a leg is NOT white meat.

    Also, every time I go in to a KFC it is dirty. They all are and so are the employees.

    Last your chicken is NOT that good to be as expensive as it is. I have not been to KFC since the late 70's and I will not.


    Rude Manager, Even Ruder General Manager

    I was with a friend of mine who went through the drive thru at the KFC on JBS Parkway in Odessa Texas. She asked for one of those bowls that has mashed potatoes, gravey and corn and chicken in it and wanted to replace the corn with macaroni and cheese. She was promptly and in a rude tone told, “No, we don’t substitute anything!” My friend tried to explain to her that every time she comes here she always orders it that way. She was told she could get it as a side and the bowl would remain the way it came but she was not going to make the bowl for her customized like that. My friend said fine, I would also like your managers name and number, to which she was told,” I am the manager” We waited long moments of silence and my friend said, “Hello? I was not done ordering” She said and I am still waiting, in a rude high pitched voice. Mind you, she is getting ruder by the minute. She asked for the total and she said ” it will b e at the window, I'm fixing your order!”

    Ok…we drove to the window and waited for her to come to the window. My friend asked for the corporate number to which this lady said rudely, “It will be on your receipt!” Ok…fine, we would call from there, then I leaned forward to ask her “ Do you know how much business you just lost by your rudeness?” She said “ I don’t care!” and to that, with my friends order in her hand, my friend asked her” what’s your name?” She told her [snip] or some such spelling, then slammed the window shut without giving her the food, she refused to let my friend pay for it and let us get on our way. She slammed the window so hard that it bounced back open. My friend reached out and opened the window and said “ Can I get that phone number now?” To which she was handed a phone number on a slip of paper .

    We pulled up a little and she called. The district manager was friendly and apologizing profusely. She explained exactly what had happened and he said, are you where you can go inside? I am giving you your food for free” We said we were still there in the driveway and we could go in.

    We went in and you could hear Lisa in the back saying she didn’t care who was calling, she wasn’t accommodating the changes and she wasn’t serving her the food. To which I said,”that’s ok, the district manager is calling you” There was a sweet black lady trying to diffuse it all by saying “ They aren’t asking for you to give them the world” and suggesting that she apologize for her rude behavior, which of course, Lisa wasn’t listening.

    Then we see a slender older oriental man on the phone with the district manager, being just as rude as he can when he was talking to him, having absolutely no respect at all in his tone for him. This was just getting to be unbelievable at this point, WOW!

    Ok, you can hear the spiteful Lisa in the back yelling about the whole thing, the place is full of people as well. Then she comes to the counter and throws the aforementioned bagged food at the counter and stalked away.

    Is this customer service people? No. No one wants to be treated like this. If Lisa had been on the other side of the serving line she would feel the same way. I want to know if these managers and, the oriental man being the general manager, understands the KFC credo? I think not, do you want me to recite it for you here? All companies have their slogans and the few very good ones who have all the customers stand by what they say.

    I can tell you, from what I saw, they do not stand behind their product at this store. Buyer beware!

    Horrible Customer Service!

    I would just like to say that I will NEVER order KFC again for the rest of my life. More than 1/2 my order was missing (I ordered a wicked duo fun for one {1 piece, hot wings, popcorn chicken, salad, fries and a pepsi} + an extra piece and a small gravy), I was missing the extra piece of chicken, the salad, the pepsi and the fries. I called into the "customer service center" and was presented with the following options: having the food sent back out (and waiting another 45 minutes), a $10 credit (doesn't even cover 1/2 my order and I was missing more than 1/2 and doesn't take into account that I also have to go find or order something else to eat.) or a full refund if I didn't eat anything and let the driver come pick everything up. (At this point I waited an hour to get my food, I was starving!)

    Isn't the point of customer service to MAKE RIGHT the problem? None of these options made it right and the representative I spoke with didn't even acknowledge that I was being inconvenienced.

    I intend on disputing the charge of my credit card as one the criteria for a dispute is when a customer does not receive what he/she ordered and this definitely fits that description.

    This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have encountered, but I hear KFC has quite a bad reputation for it's lack of customer service. The only bright side is that I will never have to deal with them again.

    I was reading the 18 reviews from KFC customers and I'm of the opinion that they are all ligit. My last visit to KFC was a month or two ago and the service was lousy i,e., employees can't count and can't cook. In the past, not only the Reseda location,but other locations too. Chicken has been under cooked or over cooked, can't butter the biscuts cause they fall apart, cold Mac&Cheese. I'm not singling KFC out, most fast food stores do the same thing. KFC is good, but not that good, infact, if I do go for fast food it's either Carl's Jr., or Wendy's. Al

    I just got into an argument with the “manager” at KFC over corn on the cob! What the hell? I asked for corn, I got cole-slaw. I tried to be very polite, no really, but that got me know where! They were busy, about 7 people behind me waiting to order so I knew they were trying to get everything done quickly, but that is no excuse for humiliating me like they did. I explained to the young girl behind the counter that I used a coupon for the meal and it specifically said you can have either cole-slaw or corn. I choice corn but got slaw. She looks at me very confused. I asked to speak to her manager. Managers always take care of things right? Not at KFC. So here comes the "manager". She’s angry! Why is she mad at me? Because I’m holding up the line! She starts going off on me in half Spanish and half English. I told her to slow down and asked to speak to another manager, she says’ “it’s me, what do you want”? DEARGOD where am I? Again, I explain the whole cole-slaw vs corn on the cob. She says “No no, only cole-slaw with that” I said, "it’s on your coupon". She says. “What coupon? Where is it at?” Like I’m lying to her.? I told her I gave it to the cashier when I placed my order. I said “get a coupon, I’ll show you” she says “No no, we don’t have coupons". A lady standing behind had a coupon so I asked to borrow it. I put it down on the counter, pointed right at it and said “there” She says “where? Where does it says that?” I said “right here”!She just shook her head no. I said, "just give me a corn and I'll pay for it". Yes, I was defeated. She turns around ,and loudly says something in Spanish. So now every one behind the counter is staring at me. The younger girl brings my corn in a bag. I asked for butter, was that wrong to ask for butter? Yep. The nerve of me asking for butter after all the time I've waisted and put everyone through! She walks away and returns with her hands cupped together and literally throws the packets at me. I looked at her and said “that was really uncalled for”. I was mad but more embarrasssed. How can they hire people who FIRST-don’t speak English-sorry, this is America-and SECOND-don't smile and are not courteous? I will never forget the feeling I felt leaving that KFC. I intend on filing a complaint with the highest person possible. I will never go back there again. They lost my business, my children’s business and my children’s children’s business. I felt discriminated by them and oh yes, I am holding a grudge.



    KFC not a customer service restaurant

    My family and I went to KFC in Petaluma, CA last week and spent $33.45 to eat. The lady at the counter did not seem to know anything about the food she was selling, but to top it all off, when we received our food, it was all wrong. The double cheeseburger my husband ordered had everything on it when we specified ketchup, mustard only. When we brought it back to get it fixed, the manager came out with quite an attitude. He told us that was the way we ordered it and he did not make any attempt to fix it, he then started arguing with my husband. That was when I got involved and asked him to just correct it and that his customer service was horrible. I asked for a full refund and he gave it to me and said he didn't need our business anyway.

    So I just looked up the KFC headquarters online and spoke with a customer service rep who was very apologetic and assured me that the proper people would be notified.

    Each and every time I've ordered food, I get new untrained employees. There is a high school near by and 90% of the employees are these kids who are in charge of new rules and policies. They make mistakes on my credit card and food orders. Many times I have almost eaten half cooked chicken. Never have they apologized or corrected there mistakes. Just tonight they made a $1.49 mistake. Instead of just ignoring my inconvenience of their stupidity, she charged my card again. My family and I have already made our decision to NEVER eat at KFC again.

    Poor service

    I ordered a pot pie. The clerk checked to see if they had any. Yes, they had one he said. I paid for it and waited. The clerk then tells me they didn't have any as I watched another clerk hand my pot pie to a guy behind me. It seemed they they had screwed up his order and left his pot pie out. If I wanted a pot pie I'd have to wait 15 minutes I was told without any apology and the clerk didn't seem really wanting to cooking more pot pies.

    I know screw-up's happen - but when management makes no attempt to to make up for it, that's when I get mad!

    I cancelled my whole $10.43 order. That's when things got worst. They didn't know how to handle the refund since I'd paid with a debit card. Finally they demanded my card again to reverse the charge. What's strange the final receipt I got doesn't show a reversal but another charge on my debit card! I didn't look at the receipt until I got home. If it shows up twice on my bank statement I'll contact a lawyer just for the hell of it, no matter what it cost me to draw their attention to their POOR service and management.

    It appears I paid twice for a pot pie I didn't get!

    This is not the first time I've been screwed by this KCF store. Most times they don't get the order right the first time and I know to check it before leaving the store.

    What really funny is that you can't find any where on the internet an email address for anyone at KFC in order voice your experience.

    I guess they don't care!


    Terrible Customer Service

    My friend and I drove to the Kentucky Fried Chicken on the corner of military and belvedere in West Palm Beach, FL. The store hours were clearly posted as 10am - 10pm, Mon - Thurs. It was a Monday night. We got to the drive through at 9:46. The girl greeted us as normal, "hello welcome to.....Would you like to try.....?" We ordered 2 mashed potato bowls. "We're outta those." Then we ordered 2 3 piece chicken meals. "We're outta that. We're actually outta everything, we're closed." Meanwhile, there is a car at the window in front of us receiving a large bag full of food. I presented this to the manager the next day. He told me I would have to talk to the night time manager. When I went back, I described the girl to the night time manager. He denied having anyone there "with hair like that."

    Do yourself a favor, don't bother ever going to this place. Popeyes is right down the street.


    Mix up

    Last night, I stopped by KFC for my son. My order was simple, 2pc chicken strip kids meal. 3pc strip order (my son eats a LOT), and a 4 piece biscuit for us to share.

    Normally I check the bag before I leave the drive through, but my son was crabbing and I haven't had problems with that location before, and all the containers looked to be right.

    When I got home I noticed they screwed up our order. We got the kids meal, no sides, not even the fruit roll up. To be honest, I'm not sure he even got his milk, which I thought was in the bag of food. Just the chicken strips. We did get our 3pc chicken, but instead of the 4 piece biscuits, we got one biscuit and a large order of potato wedges.

    It wasn't busy, in fact we were the only ones at the drive through and there were only a few cars in the parking lot.

    Just kind of annoyed as I was really craving their biscuits, but ended up letting my son have the one they gave us.

    I tried to call the location last night, but kept getting a busy signal. I most likely won't do much about it, as it's not the end of the world and mistakes happen. I'll just have to make sure I check no matter how much my son is crabbing next time. I'm just really upset I didn't get a biscuit because I don't eat fast food more than a couple of times a year.


    Bad service and rude employees

    To the management of kfc: I don't know whats wrong on your company! I'm just wondering why is it all your staff in any branches in manila phil. are all rude! do you guys have standards in hiring staff?! do you train them well?! my wife and I with my 2 year old daughter ate in kfc sm manila branch last Monday.. and this mr. nathanniel of the dine in area was so rude together with his 3 managers! I WAS ADDRESSING MY CONCERNS AND HIS 3 MANAGERS LET HIM ANSWERS ME BACK IN A RUDE MANNER! this was not the 1st time happened to us.. I've also experienced same treatment at the glorietta branch and sm mall of asia! please make some actions regarding this matter! the food is great but what make sense if your staff are rotten! this may served as an eye opener to you guys! we are patronaging your food but a little respect are all we want! thank you!


    Bad times turned out good

    Well yesterday I had a horrible experience at the KFC in San Marcos, TX. I attempted to order their popcorn chicken and a medium sweet tea. it took over 17mins to get the food. while waiting, 2 car had ordered and drove off because of the wait (if I wasn't stuck between cars I would have left too) well finally I get to the window and the women there asked what our order was...I was like you had 10mins to get it ready and you didn't know what I had. well I told her and handed my CC, she quickly took it and gave me a look. the window then closed and 7mins later she came with the order and CC. I was worried that she kept the card with her as I could not see if she had set it down or held with her as she walked off. I get my stuff and there was not even an apology for wait. I mean after sitting there for 17 mins I would have expected some sort apology or even upsize my drink for the wait. So I called the 800 number and lodged a complaint with customer service. I told them how I waited a long time to get a simple order and that with 1 car in front of me it shouldn't have taken that long. she was very apologetic and took my info. Today I get a call from the local KFC, it was the general manager, she was very sorry that I wait that long in drive thru, she explained that they training new people and that it would be addressed. I was shocked on how professional the management handle the situation. I was planning on not going back to that KFC as it my first time there and not a very good time. well I was so blown away by the way the called me and addressed the situation that I WILL be going back now. Its great to see that there are some managers that will do the right thing. I read lots of reviews on here where the managers don't do anything or blow you off, but the KFC in San Marcos is great. I had and bad experience but it was turned around! congrats to the management there.

    My wife and I ordered our food and found it to be wrong. When we drove back to get a refund I was told by the BLACK manager to "Get my White A$$" out of the store or they would throw it out. I filed a complaint with KFC and the Memphis BBB. I was told by the Black manager that the incident never happened and everything was just dismissd. This store does not have a single Non-Afro American employee.

    My family go into the restaurant at 6:00 PM to oder dinner. Restaurant is dirty, ordering counter is dirty, no lids for cups and no chicken is made! Do ya think they would have chicken cooking at the dinner rush! Then the young employees continued to argue in front of customers who was going to take their break!

    On entering store, noticed dirty tables and floors. As its on the interstate (I35) figured they had been to busy right then to take care of the front.. Choose our menu and ordered.. Clerk was not friendly, no smile, was not in a hurry even tho several people were waiting. noticed kitchen floor, filthy.. help not wearing gloves when handling food... order was wrong when received. decided not to make a scene and accepted it.. Next customer not so easy.. very vocally let them know that her order was wrong again, and expected them to correct it.. and told them that this was not the first time... Ice machine not working. supplied us with a bucket of ice for us to dip from.. supplies (napkins, silverware, condiments, empty.. had to ask for them... not happy with such a famous franchise..

    Does Colonel Sanders no longer care about the quality of service or reputation of his businesses?


    KFC Resturants and Corporate not Customer Friendly

    I used to frequent 4 different KFC'S. As of June this year I vowed to never visit another one ever again, despite the fact that they are the only chicken franchise my whole family eats. My main three reasons are:

    Reason one: THE ORDER FILLERS CAN NOT COUNT. My paid for order and 15 pieces had 9.

    Reason two: THE ORDER FILLERS DO NOT KNOW THE PARTS OF A CHICKEN. The nationally advertised LEG AND THIGH ONLY Bucket had WINGS AND BREASTS==Despite the fact that when I asked the order taker if I could get more legs than thighs and was told they could not substitute.

    Reason three: I have called the corporate phone number on my receipts 3to 4 times with in the months of April and May to complain. It is automated. You are constantly punching in #s on your phone. I answered yes to being called back by the store managers==NONE EVER CALLED. (I have yet to find a Customer Service Website to write)

    IN OTHER WORDS THE COMPANY HIRE DUMMIES AND LIARS WITH NO PEOPLE SKILLS AND OBVIOUSLY CORPORATE DOES NOT CARE TO HEAR ABOUT THEIR LOUSY SERVICE SKILLS. SO WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT THEIR INTEGRITY AND RESPONSIBILITY TO THEIR CUSTOMERS? I CAN AND WILL BE FRYING MY OWN CHICKEN.      I am VICTOM of KFC'S RUDE SERVICE! And here is the complain letter wrote to KFC headquarter which also shew all the process and matters. One maybe we all should remember is that no matter where it happened we all maybe in the same shoes some time in reason IT IS KFC's restauants.


    Dear Sir ,
      
       I am writing this morning to appeal unfair treatment I have got in one of your KFC dining-room which is located in chengdu city ,Sichuan province and its name is Huada KFC.
       I would like to introduce the whole process. It is for your reference.
       On June 24 ,I have supper in Huada KFC ,when I was standing in cash register I to pay for meal ,an employee of KFC mopped in my foot and not saying sorry to me .I murmured several words such as why you did not say sorry to me and etc ,two minutes later another employee of KFC came to cursed on me .at this time , I paid for my supper so I determined to appeal to the manager on duty during this time I can finished eating my supper.
      I appealed , twenty minutes ,no response.
      I appealed again. This time ,a Lady came out .she is Miss Heming vice manager on duty .
      First she did not say sorry to me and spent twenty minutes to debate with me who is right for this matter , until a eyewitness stood up to confirm what I have said is right .Miss Heming stopped debating with me .
      And then she spent forty minutes to teach me why employee from KFC can not say sorry to me .she said employee from KFC have no ability to say sorry to clients.
      
      At last Came out a lady again .she said she is Miss Shiyibo who is Manager on duty .and she told me it is the rule for KFC that employee can not say sorry to the clients. At this time ,in order to settle the whole matter ,I have spent two hours in Huada KFC.
       Manager Miss shiyibo advised me appealed to fill in the a kind of form which is used for clients appeal first and then I can appeal to public relationship department of KFC company.
       According to Miss shiyibo instruction I filled in the form and got the confirm from the Vice manager Miss HeMing who signed her name in this form.
       On June 25(Monday) I phoned public relationship department ,and a lady called herself Miss Pengzhihui answered my question.
       Also first Miss Pengzhihui who is in charge of public relationship department spent 10 minutes to debate with me who is right in this matter ,I asked her to refer to the form I have filled in. in the form it is clear explained what is the fact ,the most impartment of all ,the fact in the form is confirmed by the employee of KFC and I .Miss pengzhihui said she have not got the form yet. She only heard about this .
      
      
      
       On June 26(Tuesday) Miss Pengzhihui who is in charge of public relationship department of KFC gave me an answer she were willing to arrange two employee to make an apology to me .
       On June 29(Friday) Miss Pengzhihui who is in charge of public relationship department of KFC gave me a phone to confirm if I will come next day to accept the apology from the employee of KFC . I agreed.
       On June 30(Saturday) I arrived on Huada KFC according the instruction of Miss Pengzhihui .Miss Shiyibo who is on duty told me it is a pity she can not arrange the apology from the employee at the same time refused arrange another time .
       I waited one hour in Huada KFC to settle this matter and at the same time I Phoned Miss Pengzhihui who is in charge of public relationship of KFC ,she said she can change her arrangement at any time .it is no need to inform me .also she advised me to go to lawcourt to get the apology.
       During my waiting in the Huada KFC ,Ialso bought my supper there and unfomatedly ,a unknown man spilled a hot water on my body and at same time threatened me:” stop claiming or I will kill you.”
      
      
      
       So I felt so puzzled for how this happened?
      1. If it is true KFC do not permit his employee say sorry to the client even if his employee really made something wrong no matter he is willing or unwilling.
      
      2. If Yes ,why Miss pengzhihui who is in charge of the public relationship of KFC can arrange this apology activity on June 29 (Saturday)
      
      3. If No ,is that mean this apology activity which is arranged by Miss Pengzhihui just a trick ? I mean the real purpose that invited me to Huada KFC is not for apology but just to threaten me ?
      
      4. KFC enjoy challenged his clients to go to lawcourt? Is that also a kind of way to provide service to customer or a kind of way to put up ad?
      
       I have to mention here I have worked for a MNC for over ten years ,also I have enjoyed KFC service for fifteen years , I have never though it is so confused for the customer relationship management in KFC.
      
       Also I felt so puzzled according to America culture it is the basic rule to keep a promise .why for a employee who is in such impartment position , she can break a promise so easily ? also she is so willing to challenge customer to go to law court, what is that mean?
      
       Anyway what I want is just to ask you to keep the promise .
      if you can not keep this promise to me ,please write to me to explain why .
      furthermore I need your apology formally ,as this matter hurt my me deeply and waste me a lot of time .
      
       I hope you can understand from my side ,if it is you what shall you do ?

    I went to kfc in methuen mass. on 6/13/07 to order a bucket of chicken at 930pm. I was told I can't buy it after 10pm. I explained to counter girl it was 9:30pm. She said they were out of chicken and it would take one half hour to make clearly they didn't want to sell it only taco bell food if you sell chicken it should be available till closing time also rest. Was filthy restrooms were dirty tables not clean soda station dirty condiment table dirty my experience was very bad this was not the 1st time this happened to me at kfc. I was contacted by kfc I was told I would hear from the manager but I am still waiting well whats up kfc? Well I am waiting for a apology make it right.

    I brought 2 zinger meals and when I bit in to the burger a stream of hot fat shot out and hit my face burning it (1inch away from my lips left side)
    I stopped the guy who was wiping the tables and explained what had just happened and asked for a clean wet cloth or something to cool the burn down…he went away and came back with 4 hand wiping towelettes…not really what I asked for…I went to the counter and asked the girl if I could see the manager and she told me the assistant manager was in so I said I needed to speak to him he came out and I told him what had happened and said I needed some ice in a cloth and I need to put the accident in the accident book.. he went back inside…5 min later and after me again asking for him to come out.. he appeared with the accident reporting paperwork…handed it to me and again disappeared…I was still waiting for some ice and was using the cool of my cup of coke to cool the burn.. i filled out the report then as I still hadn’t been given anything too cool the burn went back to the counter and told the girl I needed some ice in a cloth…standard first aid at least.. she disappeared then came back and said the assistant manager will come out…still no ice!!! i waited a few more min..still no ice…my face was burning and the area was startin to feel tight (blistering) so I went back up to the counter and to the same girl I said excuse me…she rolled her eyes…and sighed… and said under her breath “oh what now”!!! that’s when I got really angry and told her off…then said that she really needed to get the assistant…or whatever… manager out NOW!!! He appeared and handed me a plastic bag of ice…15 min after the first time I asked for it…I told him he needed to stop what he was doing and come out to the restaurant and speak to me as I had more than one complaint!!!!

    He came out and looked over the report spoke to me for 5 min apologized again for what had happened and the lack of care and service.

    What worried me most that he seemed not to know anything about first aid or temp of the fryers…or how to deal with an incident like this……what would happen if one of his staff had a bad accident??

    I took my grand daughters to Kentucky Fried Chicken this evening. It was 5:30 and the people working there were not prepared for the dinner hour. The line was long. There wasn't any chicken cooked the bins was empty. We had to wait in line a while because they didn't have enough to fill orders. We ordered 2 of the new bowl meals that had to have biscuits. We had a 15 minute wait for biscuits. The table was sticky and the booster seat had not had a cloth taken to it in a long time. It was nasty. The restrooms toilet paper was not in the holder and the hand dryer didn't work and there wasn't any paper towels. You had to unroll the toilet paper to dry our hands on. While we were there the front was filled with waiting customers, and when we went outside the drive through was backed up so far we couldn't get out because of cars in line for the drive through. I think this particular KFC needs to be looked at by the company. The manager needs to be looked at to see if he or she is capable of doing the job. The Dept. Of Health needs to be contacted. The KFC I'm talking about is on Northwest Expressway in Oklahoma City Oklahoma.Between Rockwell and McCarther. I would have contacted the Company but they don't have any contact information on their site.

    On November 25, 2006, my family & I were on our way back to Georgia from Texas. Somewhere around 7PM we stopped in KFC for a break & to get some chicken to eat on the road.

    When we entered the store, all of the employees seem to have the look & attitude of "I wish were anywhere but here." We had to repeat our order four times before the young lady got it right, a variety bucket, just like it is advertised, four pieces of chicken, four strips & eight honey BBQ wings, four biscuits & two drinks, one diet Pepsi & one sweet tea. The total was $19.25. She took our money & gave me two glasses. I walked over to the drink area, got the diet Pepsi, but there was no tea. So I asked about tea the lady at the buffet, seemed to ignore me. I asked for tea the 3rd time she made a gesture the tea was behind the counter. I then reached over the counter & put my glass under the pour spout, and she opened it to fill my glass. I thought that she would stop once it was full, but it did not appear that she was, so I reached over again & took my glass to prevent overflowing. I put the lid & straw on & took a swallow. It was not sweet. I told this to the lady & again, I was ignored. She had pulled several pieces of chicken out of the buffet, grabbed them with her hands, (no gloves) and turned & walked away from me. There were two pitchers sitting between the salad bar & buffet, I asked if one of them was sweet tea. Still, no answer. So my husband asked her if she had any "!*! sweet tea". Her attitude was very sullen, rude & with the impression of "I just don't care" still without a reply. By that time he & I were totally frustrated because of the way we were being treated. My husband then asked to speak to the (F......*) manger. The woman turned & walked the phone & called 911 making a complaint against my husband because he used profanity. I agree he should not have, we were frustrated with the lack of service. No one said anything to him, he was not asked to stop using the language, or to leave. NO COMMUNICATION at all. I then said just give us a refund we will go somewhere else. The lady wanting to keep us there, tried to give me back $10 instead of $20. She finally gave $20 gesturing it towards my husband, but keeping it out of his reach. I leaned over & took the money away from her. As we went out the door, the police were pulling into the parking lot. The woman rushed out the door behind us, she pushed her hand on my back to wedge between my husband & me then said to the officer, "this is him, he is the S*B that was cussing us." Of course this led to my husband being arrested for disorderly conduct. While in the parking lot the office said, "We don't put up with that S**T in Pearl, Mississippi." It cost $375 cash to bond my husband out. I considered pressing charges on the lady for pushing on my back, but I felt that would escalate things & create more problems. I feel that our Civil Rights were violated. I agree that my husband could & should have used a better choice of words. But a simple "Please don't use that kind of language" would have changed the whole thing. Just "Common courtesy, & an attempt at reasonable customer service would have prevented all of it.

    We have had frequent problems with customer service from KFC. In GA we have never gone through the drive thru on Highway 5 & gotten our complete order. I have made several complaints regarding this. It is the same with Pizza Hut, the lack of common courtesy in customer service is gone.

    Needless to say I am totally through with KFC & affiliates.


    Wrong order/terrible customer service

    We have been having a problem with this KFC/Taco Bell location for some time now. We have seen employees climb up on prep tables to fiddle with monitors or whatever, up near the celing, then get down and start packaging orders again without even wiping down the tabletop.

    My wife and I arrived at the store recently at about 5:15 PM according to the time stamp. We asked if they had any pot pies, as they are my wife's favorite. We were told, "Yes," so we ordered a pot pie and a Boneless Bucket, which is supposed to have 4 chicken strips, 8 honey BBQ wings, and an order of popcorn chicken. After we waited for about 15 minutes, a male employee came to the counter with a bucket in a bag and told us we would have another 20 minute wait for the pot pie. I asked why, when we had been assured there were pies available. A woman I assume was the shift manager piped up and said they went out the drive-thru window. Stupid me, I asked why they would give all the pies to the drive-thru when we had been waiting for so long. She replied that they didn't want to make the drive-thrus wait. I asked what are we, then, disposable people? She then gave me a Maxwell Smart "Sorry about that," and walked away. We got the refund for the pie and left, me with steam coming out my ears.

    When I got home, I called 1-800-CALL-KFC, and told "toni" about what had happened. As I did this, my wife opened the bucket and found that we had the strips and 2 boxes of popcorn chicken, and that it was all cold from the delay.

    When we got back to the store, I told the shift manager about what had happened. She began to take one of the boxes of popcorn chicken out of the bucket, obviously to replace it with wings. I told her that won't work, as it was COLD. She looked at me like I had 3 heads and said, "you want to replace the whole bucket?" I asked if she would eat cold chicken if she had paid for hot. We have eaten KFC forever, and like it, usually. This crew at this store, however, needs to be re-trained or replaced. And before the usual comments of just eat somewhere else, we live near this small town, and there are not that many restaurants, and with the price of gas right now, we cannot afford to drive to Casa Grande.


    Oven Roasted Wrap vs Fried Chicken Wrap

    I frequent the KFC in Houston on Holcombe near the Medical Center. Why is it that they can never get the order correct? All I ever get is an oven roasted wrap and it's always hit or miss. Whenever I decide not to check the wrap, I get back to my destination and discover I have a fried chicken wrap. Now, how many ways can you say OVEN ROASTED WRAP? The funny part of this story is that I have the same thing every day at lunch. And on several occasions I sent a friend to pick up my lunch and specifically told them "Oven Roasted," and I still got fried chicken strip wrap. BOO!!!

    On Tuesday January 2, 2007 My Mother, Father and I went into a Kentucky Fried Chicken in Lodi, CA. It was about 9:35 p.m. and the store was about 25 minutes from closing. When we first entered and approached the cashier were were told that there was no chicken available and would have to order hot wings only and would have to wait 10 minutes for them. Our order was taken by a woman who we assumed was a manager. I had an immediate need to use the bathroom and approached the women's bathroom and found a employee cleaning the bathroom and was told that it was closed for cleaning. I waited patiently while the young woman finished cleaning and asked once again to use the restroom and was told, " The restrooms were closed and I would not be able to use them and would have to go else where to use the bathroom." I hopped in my car and drove across the parking lot to a gas station to only find out they were closed as well and the light was not fixed in the bathroom. I thanked the gas station attendant and told him that the light in the bathroom was out and couldn't use it cause it was very dark. I came back to the restaurant and pleaded with the woman again, because of a weak bladder. I begged her to allow me to use the bathroom and her response was that," I should go to the 99 cent store behind the KFC restauraunt because it was still open. By this time I was so in need of a restroom I found myself running to the 99 cent store only to find out that it was closed as well. During this trek, my Mother and Father were still in the restaurant and noticed that the women who had sent me on a wild goose chase was laughing at me while I ran through the parking lot trying to get to a bathroom. My father noticed that 2 Hispanic women who came in behind us had requested 2 chicken dinners and was given 2 chicken dinners. He wanted a chicken dinner and at that point became quite upset at the treatment we were recieving. Meanwhile, I ran through the parking lot of KFC and 99 cent store and ran across a Hwy 12 in Lodi to beg the gas station attendent who was cleaning his restrooms out if I could use them. My father then joined me at the gas station to see if I was okay. He was furious and didn't want to return. My mother on the other hand waited inside the restraunt and gathered our things and we left. I have contacted KFC as well as their managment and have recieved no satifaction. We were the only African Americans in the place as customers and I saw no one else being treated in this demeaning way. It is cruel and unfortunate. I will NEVER go back to another KFC. I contacted KFC's 800 number that evening and heard from a Area representative and still nothing is being done about this. If your an attorney please contact me at the email address in this message. I was made to feel like I was less than a human being. Never in my 37 years of existance have I ever been made to feel like I live in 1951. This is 2007. You don't realize how people think we have gotten past the color of people's skin but we really haven't.


    They forget to put the chicken in the bag

    Went to the drive-thru after a hard day at work..get home and the chicken wasnt in the bag..everything else but the chicken. so i call the manager..he acts like im lying to him. and ask..well..do you want to come back and get it. i said i have to and im not sure when i can get there. because its rush hour now. he said it will be ready. i get to the window. no one knows anything about it. another manager came to the window asking what i wanted..i had to tell the story 3 times..waited more than 10 minutes.asked for a refund since i had to drive back up to get the chicken that they forgot to put in the bag..and he said no..no refund..no IM SORRY..nothing..he was very rude. i told him i will never ever go back..and then i get home and the chicken order was still wrong..i want all origanal and got mixed..very bad experience..and i will never go back. and i will tell everyone i know the experience and tell them not to go. they should of refunded my money..their mistake. and my gas having to drive back to get the chicken.

    The Kentucky Fried Chicken in Crafton, PA 15205 SUCKS!!! Just about ALL of the people who work there are VERY RUDE, the company is ALWAYS out of side dishes and supplies. EVERY time I go there on my lunch break employee's always have an Attitude; telling me I can not get what I ordered becuase they are out of it. Once your food is rung up they do NOT tell you the total just stick there hands out for your money. I was there on lunch the other day and a woman employee was very rude, and I heard the drive thru person tell a customer that the drive threw was no closed becuase they were too busy inside. I never heard of such a thing. Wendi's, Macdonald, etc.. would NEVER DO THAT. I only go to this KFC if I HAVE TO.. Don't get me wrong I love KFC, but after leaving this one you will never want to go back to another one. It is a total shame!!!! An older man was behind me and wanted potatoe wedges and the woman flat out told him "Pick another side, they are not ready yet, and they will be about 10 minutes, so pick something else" Don't these people know that it is lunch time and to be prepared for customers!!!!!! It is so horrible there. I have been going there since I was a litte kid, and to see it go down hill so much is sad. I will never go back there again. I don't know who the manager is but KFC in Craton,PA needs a complete turn around. It is awful!! Sad to say but true, you will lose my business and many others. Everyone says hwo horrible that KFC is.

    There are two KFC stors in the Walterboro SC area. One located on the Sniders Hwy (Hwy 63 next to I95) and the other located in Walterboro SC. The first problem is that they both run out of side orders all the time at 730 pm this is not the first time its happend to me. Its seams to be an ongoing problem. Can not the managers or asst. managers for see the need to have it avalible. Then there is the chicken, some times its to greasey even the xtra crispy tastes like the orignal and the orignal looks like it soaked all night in the oil. Now, OH boy, these places , the people working there make you think you are making the work there by force. Where is the customer service with a smile, they are rude, not wanting to take you order, and by god help you if they think you are from out of town, I live here. I have tried to talk to the managers about this problem and it is like talking to a wall.

    I went to the KFC in chicago illinois on gunnsion and austin this is about the 3rd time I go there every time I have to wait but this last time I got fed up i was waiting for 20min and i got out of the car because my baby was crying to much I had my 10yr old son wait with her if I would of known how long they were going to take I would of never tooken my daughter then to top it of the cashier had a attitude problem she didn't even apoligize to me she just handed me my bag, a couple of friends of mine that have been there also say the girls there a so rude if they do not want to work there they should just quit there given this kfc a bad name.

    For two nights in a row I went to KFC only to be told that there is no chicken left? do they not have effective managers, surely they know that the store is busy so should stock up enough? I went for the new boneless box for myself and my family to share, ... no chicken, so again i tried the following night for the same thing only to see a poster in the window.." sorry, no boneless box left, sold out" so decided to order a family bucket, the reply? no chicken only six pieces left. WHAT? I'm in the drive through, with onother six or so people behind me, presuming they are all after chicken and not just beans and chips. could they not have somebody at the entrance to tell people they are out of atock, rather than have people waiting for 20 mins before they decide to tell you there is no chicken left? but really, as if, no chicken left at KFC? puleez. and the other thing is there is no e-mail address to tell the people at KFC that their service is crappy at some restaurants. get your act together colonel.

    Having gone to the KFC in Lake Zurich IL we have found that they have become very lax in the cleanliness of their store. We have watched the staff stay behind the counter just talking etc while the floors and tables stay a mess. This is not good. Also, we usually go after the lunch crowd and find we usually have to ask for things like chicken etc. to be replenished. Love going there for their buffet but am concerned about cleanliness.

    I no longer go to my local KFC because of poor quality service and questionable food, so I was very surprised when I was on a road trip in Miss and the driver opted KFC over the Popeyes.WOW !
    We went inside to smiles from the employees ! Not what I was used to in Alabama. It had been some time so I did not know the menu so we stood back to look.The drive thu lady with a nice smile asked us if we were ready to order.(she had seen people come in after us and order)and it wasnt even her station.
    When we were ready and ordered it was put together right away...even given extra hot sauce with a smile.I went back to get a bag cos I couldnt eat it all and was even asked if I would like a to go plate to put it in.This was the Columbus store, reciept says Birdia Bonner is the manager,date 2/18/06 @14:05.Thanks 4 a great late lunch,wish u were in Northport Al !!


    dirty , cold food and paper in the food

    This place for the last couple weeks have been very dirty and had cold food . My husband went to get me somethig to eat brought me a taco salad and there was paper all in it . We took are twins there to eat and they had to use the bathroom and when they went in there to use it, it was so dirty they refused to use that bathroom. The food is cold most of the time if its not cold there is hardly any out , they close the buffet down early when the manger isnt there i find it rude to rush people who are eating and its not even time to close it, to close just cause they want to get home early isnt the answer, they went there to work just like i work and im excpected to do what im suppose to so are the workers of kfc i think they need more inspection by people other then the ones running ....

    Today I paid a 30 dollar bill at the medical clinic. I gave the lady 40 dollars (2 twenties). She asked me if I would like a Ten or 2 fives. I said that it does not matter. Well She gave me two Fives.

    With the 2 fives in hand, I went practically across the street to KFC's drive-thru. I purchased a 2 pc meal with a coke totalling 6.41 cents.

    I gave the young lady the 2 fives, 2 quarters, and 1 penny. The next thing I knew, she was practically throwing my food in the window. I grabbed it. The dime rolled off into the pavement. Then she handed me my drink and the straw flew onto the pavement.

    I asked her "where is my change". She said that she thinks she dropped the dime. I told her that I gave her 2 fives. She said no that I did not. The guy who took my order said that I did give her 2 fives, but then changed it to her story. Well they told me to pull up.

    I waited a good 10 minutes, finally a lady (presumably the manager) took my name and number.
    She said that the drawer was correct when they counted it. But if anything were to come up, they would give me a call.

    I told her that I know for a fact I gave the lady 2 fives and that if i had only given her 1 five, then I would owe them money since the bill was 6.41 cents. She looked at me with a funny look.

    I told her it was the principal of the matter, not the money. I drove off.

    First off I want 2 say that the employees at your store in Dayton, Ohio located at 2905 Salem Ave are very nasty and inconsiderate. I came through the drive-thru at 10:30 and tried to place an order but was told I could not because they were preparing tp close at 11pm. I has 30 minutes until the resturant closed for the evening but I was denied service. I over heard one employee say to another "I aint makin' no more mutha fu**ing chicken, i'm trying to get outta here". I found it very offensive and rude for this to have taken place when all I wanted to do was order some chicken. This took place on November 17, 2005 at 10:30pm at the KFC located at 2905 Salem Ave in Dayton, Ohio 45406. You have lost a valued customer of many years.


    Laptop Meal WITHOUT any Chicken

    This occurred at the Wylie, TX KFC restaurant drive-thru shortly before 6 p.m. on a Sunday evening. I ordered a kids meal with 2 chicken strips and a #3 3 strip meal. Everything was fine with the 3 strip meal, but the kids meal did not have any chicken in it at all. They charged full price for it, but did NOT provide any chicken. When I called to speak with the manager (ringing 12 times)- they didn't answer the phone! I called a second time, letting it ring 9 times- still no answer. I ended up calling the corporate customer service line.
    I'm waiting to hear back from the company now.

I usually buy baket of chicken and every time I come by they don't have any chicken or they give me wrong kind or when I buy 16 pieces I discovering that I have only 12. Also if you will look at the receit you will see the difference pieces you suppose to get and you getting. Bad customer service and I am out of there

    This is laughable! I have been to the St Helens KFC 3 times this month they NEVER have chicken..... I have asked for bucket of original recipe, one time, they didn't have it (asked me if chicken strips were ok) I blew it off... they were out of chicken... A week later I went back and asked for 2 'meals', they were OUT OF CHICKEN! I just shook my head and drove off.... (I was really looking forward to not cooking). Tonight I pulled up to KFC (still trying to get some KFC) It was starting to get dark, and the lights were off... 7pm. I sat in the drive thru for a good 5 minutes (I was getting ready to pull away) I could see the employees, they were standing outside the back door, talking and smoking.... finally this voice says 'can I help you'? I said are you guys closed? Your lights are off... 'blink-blink' and the lights came on... I said ok, can I get a bucket of chicken?... The voice says 'we are out of chicken'.... Perhaps I should have ordered a cheeseburger!
    Someone needs to get a handle on thier employees....
    If I treated my customers like this... I would have been un-employeed 18 years ago!

    I will never go to another KFC. I went July 30, 2005 @ 9:30. The young lady was so rude and nasty at the drive thru window. The chicken was not what i had order. I order a three piece and got two hard dried up pieces of chicken you could not even enjoy it. I asked for water the rude nasty young lady yells out of the window we don't give water out. I have never heard of being rejecting for a glass of water when i did purchase a meal. I was a paying customer. I will never go there again they are so rude and out right nasty. KFC has really lost their touch.

    Saturday July 2, 2005 @ 9:15 pm. We went to KFC in Morgan Hill, California to try and feed 10 hungry kids and 4 hungry adults. As we proceeded to place our order, the peson at the window told us that they didn't have any chicken left. And we would have to wait 30 minutes for any chicken to be ready. Come on, that's ridiculous. If your business is based on chicken, shouldn't you have chicken ready to be served. Isn't convenience and speed of service the reason why we use drive-up windows. If I were the manager/owner, I would have a talk with my employees and figure out what went wrong, so that this incident doesn't happen again.

    I don't know why customer service has fallen to such poor standards. I just picked up food from our local Sparta, WI KFC. When I got home and started to serve my children I came to realize the chicken was burnt and cold, the potatoes were almost like liquid as was the gravy, it poured like water. I called the store and spoke to a manager. I was very polite and said I just wanted to make her aware of the problem. She basically didn't care at all, no offer for me to come back and exchange the food, pretty much tough ..... I feel offended, cheated, and basically pissed off. I will not go back to that KFC or any other for that matter. I have had the worst food from several KFC's and it just does not get better. Their quality of food has gotten to be pathetic and I have gotten it for the last time. Hopefully this note will help someone else choose a different place to go. There's too many choices to waste money on such crappy food and service.

    First of all, let me stress that we are NOT troublemakers or are we looking for ANYTHING free! We feel that someone needs to know what happened to us at this store!



    My husband and I went into a dual franchise store with Long John Silver and Kentucky Fried Chicken located at exit 142, Interstate 10 in Marianna, Florida tonight, April 25, 2005. It was about 7:45PM and there were only 2 other customers in the store. The front doors (the ones facing the main street) were locked. We walked to the side entry doors and the right door was locked but the left one was open. I checked the closing time (9 PM on Sunday night) to be sure they were open. We went into the restrooms to wash our hands and then to the counter to order. The girl at the counter acted like we had interrupted her, but we didn't see her doing anything other than standing. We ordered two platters with 2 pieces of fish, fries, hushpuppies and Cole slaw, and two drinks. My husband also ordered an extra piece of fish. We received our order and tried to find a clean table to sit at. There were no clean tables! There were napkins on some, pieces of food on others, and general mess on others where food and drinks had been sitting. We picked a table in the northwest corner of the restaurant that was the least dirty, wiped it down ourselves and sat down. Problem!!! The fries were cold and tasted like they were from the morning shift! My husband had a hushpuppy that was so hard, he couldn't mash it and he is not a weak man! So... he went to the counter and asked for some fresh fries...what did we get?? Fries that had been heated up somehow (we think by dumping them back into the oil!) and brought out to us as fresh fries! By this time we were absolutely fed up! We have never done this before, but we walked out without cleaning up our used plates. We thought that maybe then the table might get cleaned, at least on the top. The floor is another story!



    The girl at the counter...who was too busy to bother with us when we wanted to order...ran after us and told us to clean our table. We told her since we had cleaned it up to eat; we were not cleaning it again! A young man, who said he was the manager, yelled at us out the drive-thru window and said we "WOULD" clean up our trash! He came outside with the tray. I asked him what store number was this location and he said K15. My husband told him that we had asked for fresh fries and got refried fries. We didn't ask for fresh hushpuppies. He told us we "WOULD" put our trash up or he would put it on our vehicle. All of the stressed words are as he stated to us. All of this was occurring while he was walking outside with the tray and with Sonny's Barbeque customers (located next door) looking on. My husband told him that we would be glad to do clear our trash if he would refund our money for the fries. He stated that he didn't get tips for cleaning! As my husband asked for the refund for the fries, he put his hand on this young man's shoulder in a friendly gesture. The "manager" told him to not touch him and then I said maybe we should call the cops! After all, I had the distinct impression that this manager was about to get violent with my husband! There was another employee outside as well that was also acting aggressively. The manager walked inside cursing us as I walked to Sonny's Barbeque to call since we had left our cell phone in our truck. By the time I walked inside Sonny's, several local people that were inside Sonny's asked what was wrong since it was obvious there was a problem and I was upset. I related the above to them and was told that they never go there since they have had problems as well. I decided to write an email instead.



    We really don't like to complain, but this young man's attitude was just a little too much! The store was filthy, the fries were cold and nasty, and the hushpuppies would have made good ammunition (HARD!!!). This manager's attitude was that he had the right to order us to do something that evidently his employees would not - clean the tables. I would like to be charitable and say maybe there had just been a rush, but since three doors that we tried were locked, I really don't think that was the case! Isn't it against the fire codes to have doors locked during business hours??



    I do have a compliment... there was ONE employee that had a smile on her face and did try to make things right. She was working drive-thru I think, since she did have a head set on. She apologized for the fries and hushpuppy. That should have been the manager's job. Not hers! We do want to give praise where praise is due!



    As for us, we will not be back. Mealtime is supposed to be a relaxing time, not a time of confrontation!







    Customer Service Plus Everything

    BUYER BEWARE-When you go to this KFC and a high percentage of others we have mistakenly tried you are engaged in chicken roulette. This was the worst store where they had no salt, no napkins, no service, no manager and plenty of filth(sewerage). Do as we did and run as fast as you can to the Taco Bell next door. Also don't kid yourself-you are far more likely to get an audience with the Pope than anyone in customer service who will respond to your concerns.


    No Chicken available on Buffet

    I live in Miami Oklahoma and like to go out and eat here in town, I have been to the KFC several times and enjoy the buffet, But it seems like there is never any extra chrispy chicken to eat, I do not like the original recepit. Last night we went there to eat and I waited for about 30 minites for them to cook chicken, I dont feel this is any way to run a business, I will now drive to Joplin to eat because they always have plenty of chicken to eat when we have been there. I feel bad for not staying in my town, but I don't want to wait for food. This is not the first time I have had this problem, it seems like it happens everytime We go there.

    i went to kfc in yuma,arizona this past tuesday nov. 9,the one located on e 32nd street. i had gerat costumer service by some girl whoes name i don't know. all i know is that she is a supervisor white colored skin, big eyes,black hair,and such a beatuiful smile. when i ordered my meal she asked if i wanted a drink,coffee, or milk,she packed the order quick and she brought the order to our table. once she was there she asked if we needed anything else like creamer or sugar. after that she went to drive thru and took some orders there.i think kfc should have more employees like her regarding some people are old like me...

    While I was waiting for my KFC order to be given to me I was daydreming and looking at the signs. I then looked over at a woman who was cleaning out a fat tray from underneath a deep frier. I didnt even look at the woman, I was just daydreaming...when she spun her head around really fast and said "WHAT ARE YOU STARING AT?".....I was absoltely shocked and was just about in tears at how rude this woman was to a paying customer. Especially coming from her....she was the manager!!! I have had rudeness from her before and am sick of it as this KFC is close to home and I go there often. I hope that she gets told to buck up her attitude towards paying customers!


    The worst service ever

    I have read other complaints about KFC on this site and it leads me to believe that poor service is not isolated to this Daphne, AL location. I have visited this location about six times and only twice did I leave with food. On two occasions, the wings were frozen and the magic nine minutes was my alternative. Once they were totally out of chicken....and at 5pm. On another visit, they didn't even answer the drive thru and I had to drive to the window, tap on it and still couldn't get an order in. So I drove away. Last Saturday, I decided to give them one more try, why I don't know? I pulled up to the menu board, ordered a 20pc honey BBQ wing, and she came back with the oh so familiar, we are out! So I went back home and contacted KFC and filed a complaint.

    I wonder if will do any good? I guess I'll never know because that will be the last time I try.....

    Right now I am so mad that I can't see straight! I went to KFC with my 5 year old and 5 month old, to use the coupons for a 2 piece meal and laptop for my son, at the drive-thru of course because it's easier with a baby! I was told I had to go inside to use more than 1 coupon because you are only allowed to use 1 coupon per visit. So I proceed to go inside and wait in the long line, holding the baby and watching out for my 5 year old. When it got to be my turn, I wanted to explode when asked, "for here or to go?" I asked to first see the manager and then have my order taken. I was told again that I could only use 1 coupon. So I told the girl to do 2 separate transactions and she looked at me like I had 2 heads. After she took my order I asked where the manager was. She called her again. Shaneeka was here name. She moved like a pregnant elephant. You can't tell me that if the manager moves that slowly that her employees are going to move any quicker. I felt that she could care less about what I was trying to explain; that at the window they told me I had to come inside and then inside I was told I could only use 1 coupon per visit. Then, I waited 20 minutes for my order. KFC in Bridgeton, NJ is a joke. Do not go there unless you like being treated like you are pestering them by soliciting their establishment. I am still so mad that I can't see straight. The next thing I want to do is find an address to write so that I can express my concerns over this restaurant; perhaps the Better Business Bureau. The only exclusions on the coupon are "Limit 1 per coupon at participating KFC restaurants. Not good with other special offers. Tax extra. No reproductions accepted."
    Forgive my typos and do not go to the KFC in Bridgeton, NJ.

    While in the drive-thru waiting to place an order, I received a lecture on how they were trying to better their Customer Service by not taking more than 1 order per car thus speeding up their time. After being lectured again at the window to pay, the "worker" slammed the window, then proceeded to throw a soda at my car. Beware of poor customer service and flying soda.

    TODAY 5/28/04 I VISITED THE KFC ON INDIANSCHOOL&HAYDEN IN SCOTTSDALE AZ. I ORDERED A 4PC. WING MEAL EXTRA CRISPY BUT WAS TOLD THERE WERE ONLY 2 EXTRA CRISPY WINGS DONE WHEN I ASKED IF THEY WERE COOKING MORE EXTRA CRISPY WINGS HE TOLD ME THEY HAD NOT EVEN PREPARED THEM YET. WHEN I ASKED IF I COULD HAVE HONEY BBQ WINGS I WAS TOLD I WOULD BE CHARGED FOR EACH SIDE INDIVIDUALLY BECAUSE HONEY BBQ WINGS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AS A COMBO MEAL.     Wrong meal and horrible service

    To whom it may concern,
    A week ago I was visiting our KFC on Franlkin to pick up dinner for my boyfreind. I ordered the meal and sides and being the only one there I thought the process would go rather quickly. I pulled up to pay for the food and proceeded to wait for five min to pay for the food...After paying I was told to pull up because my oder was not ready yet. I pulled up and waited for 15 more min to get the meal and sides. When i was given my food.. there was no apology given what so ever for the wait. Not even a have a nice day! I felt i was completely patient and nice to them but i didnt get any thing close to proper customer service...Worst of all, after all of that time, the order was wrong when i got home and I didnt have enough time to go back and get it fixed for him because I had to get back to work. I would not have been so upset if not for the lack of an apology and wrong order after all of that time I waited. I hope something can be done about this because we are both regular customers and love your food and would like to continue supportingyour business.

    Out of Chicken!

    July 1st 2002 We went to KFC on Plymonth and Meyers drive thru to place an order, and the greeting recorder comes on and then a person who is actually there asked to take your order
    we placed our order and then they said said "We are out of Chicken". How can a KFC be out of CHICKEN? That I don't understand at all. They don't offer any accomindations for the customers at all.

    As a frequent user of your company, I feel obligated to share with you my experience.

    On March 29th, 2001 I went to one of your restuarants located at VanDyke and 19 mile in Sterling Heights, MI. I went through the drive through and ordered a 20 pack of spicy wings and a side of mashed potatoes. The girl at the window told me it would be 9 minutes until the wings would be ready and asked me to pull into a nearby parking spot and she would bring them out when they were ready. After sitting in my car for nearly twenty minutes I figured they must have forgot about me so I went in to see what happened. I went in and stood at the counter (I was the only one there) for nearly five minutes while the two girls working in the back stood talking to each other, one of them finally looked at me and said she would be with me in a minute. When she finally got around to asking me how she could help me, I explained to her (the same girl who had taken my order and money) that I was still waiting for my wings, she looked at me like she didn't know what I was talking about and I explained that I had just ordered a twenty pack and she had told me she would bring them out to me. She said 'Oh yeah, hold on a minute' and went in the back only to come back and tell me she only had 8 wings left and she didn't know what happened to the other twelve (obviously they had sold two six packs of wings to customers that had come after me in the drive thru). She then rudely told me I would have to wait another ten minutes if I wanted my wings or I could just take my money and leave-needless to say I just took my money and left. I was very disappointed with the service and the fact that they made no effort to compensate me for wasting thirty minutes of my time, they apparently don't care about losing myself and my family as a loyal customers.

    To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:

    I would like to be compensated for my thirty minutes of wasted time, not to mention the time I had to spend driving to another eating establishment to get my lunch. At minimum I would to know if this policy of handling customer dissatifaction is standard for the KFC restuarants so that I, and all of my co-workers and friends, will know to stay away from these restuarants in the future.

    At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident.
