Sugar-free Cadbury Creme Eggs?
By -

I've been a diehard chocolate fan my entire life, and, unfortunately, I was diagnosed with type-2 diabetes not too long ago. Now, I can still have chocolate, of course. There are some decent sugar-free varieties around. However, one of my absolute favorite chocolate creations does not come in a sugar-free version, and, while I'm not sure it could be done, I figured I'd throw the idea out there anyway.

Here goes: Sugar-free Cadbury Creme Eggs! Yep, one of the best chocolates on the planet needs to have a sugar-free option! I know, I know. It's probably like asking for sugar-free Peeps... oh, wait. They have those! So, you see, it's not such an impossible dream after all! Pretty please? With sugar (substitute) on top?

Worms in my chocolate
By -

MASSAPEQUA, NEW YORK -- Last night I was disturbed to say the least, to find worms in my half eaten candy bar from cadbury that I had just bought earlier in the day. The worms are very small, like inch worms but white not green and they are LIVE! I have the rest of the bar in my freezer and I am calling the FDA Monday. I came across this site when I searched to see if anyone else had experienced this and was sickened to find out many have!

People are saying the chocolate must have been old, well then cadbury should have to put a sell-by date on the package and there is none. The paper packaging was not compromised, the chocolate was not white and old looking, it was fine. I believe this was improper storage by either the manufacturer or Duane Reade where I bought it. Either way, the consumer should NEVER have to be sicked by this.

Poison control told me, no big deal, the worms will die in the digestive track but what about how upsetting this is? I haven't been able to eat since and it will be a long time before I am able to eat chocolate again! I have pics, I don't know how to post them but If anyone does, please tell me. Buyer beware, stay away from cadbury chocolate. Oh and by the way, Hershey's owns Cadbury! Keep away from them for Easter or open each chocolate before letting your kids eat any!

PENNSYLVANIA -- I bought 2 bags of spring time kisses for my children's Easter baskets. My daughter came to me with one and it had worms in it! We checked and found some in the other kisses. Hershey said it wasn't their fault. They said it was poor shipping or/and storage that caused it. I was told to contact the store I bought them from. I will never buy chocolate manufactured by Hershey.

Charging the same price for less product

Have seen ads on TV advertising Hershey's new Air Delight chocolate kisses. Bear in mind the ONLY difference is air is blown into the chocolate resulting in hundreds of air bubbles. Being my usual cynical self I had to look at the economics. I went to Wal-mart and found the regular Hersey's kisses and the Air Delight version. Both packages were $3.28. The regular was 12 ounces. The Air Delight was 9 ounces. These people are great at figuring out ways to get more money and giving the customer less.

Oh So Yummy

This is great ice cream if you can find it. Only my local convenience store carries it and half the time they are out of it. But if you can find it definitely give it a try.

Hershey's has a new product on the market at the moment. Hershey's Coconut Creme Kisses. I don't even like Hershey's Kisses but these are absolutely divine. Good Job! Keep 'em comin'!

Maggots in Snickers
By -

DEPTFORD, NEW JERSEY -- 8 years ago I ate a bite size snickers. I let it melt in my mouth (that's how I enjoyed eating them) and tasted peanut butter... something you don't taste when eating a snickers. I looked in the wrapper and saw several small maggot worms crawling around. Needless to say I've been traumatized ever since and I don't recommend Hershey products.

Worms In Hershey Kisses

My wife buys Hershey Kisses all the time & keeps them in bowls for her grandchildren. Last night she ate one that she had bought two days earlier and found a worm in it. She was up all night wrenching and throwing up. She has vowed to never ever but Hershey chocolate products again!!!

Tried the Reese's whipped yet?
By -

I've tried it and it's fantastic. It's not as heavy as the Reese's cup but it still has that wonderful flavor. I don't, however, know where they got the statistic about 40% less fat. 40% Less fat than what? The whipped version and the original version both have 230 calories, and the three musketeers has less calories, although not much. They've got to be completely terrible for you which is probably why they taste so good. ;)
