 Bad Sprinklers - Products - Complaint
CALIFORNIA -- I work with sprinklers and they would always break when I bought them at Home Depot until the point where I just buy them from their anymore. I don't recommend most of their products actually because their such low quality and cheap. -- Posted by Hand on 10/14/2010

Do not shop here - Hardware, rolling stool - Complaint
SIMI VALLEY, CALIFORNIA -- These people are #$%$#. I called Simi valley Home Depot to ask if they had a stool in stock. I even gave them the model number. they transferred me 5 times and hung up.

Poor delivery service - stove - Complaint
MORROW, IOWA -- I ordered a stove almost a month ago. I received a call from an automated line stating my stove would be delivered in 20 minutes. This is not acceptable. Home Depot should have given at least a few days notice. I am a Police Officer and was unable to call the Re-Schedule number to re- schedule. Most likely I will only shop at Lowe's from now on. KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- I wrote a complaint to "My 3 Cents" in regards to poor service when I tried to call Home Depot for parts. Today I received an appolagy from Home Depot and a offer to find parts for my saw, which I purchased at their Kelowna store.
Thanks, but no thanks, I found the parts on my own at another store.

Web Site - Ryobi Mitre saw - Informative
KELLOWNA BRITISH COLUMBIA CANADA -- I tried e-mailing Home Depot in Kelowna Brithish Columbia to find parts for my Ryobi miter saw. I could not find any way to contact anyone. I then phoned long distance and was put on hold. After a few minutes I hung up and called back and spoke to their operator who gave me a number of a company who has parts. Thanks allot lady, the number is out of service. I uselly like Home Depot, but I am not to bloody happy with them today

Unbelievable! I have always shopped at Home Depot, especially after price comparisons with other major chains like Lowe's. I almost always made my purchases at Home Depot.... Have you people lost your minds? We are in an economy crisis and you cut your own throats. Change your policy on "One Nation Under God" Are discover the wrath of the American Consumer... My money will be spent at Lowe's...

In God We Trust - Complaint
I was very disapointed in Home Depot when I heard on the news about a man in Florida being fire for wearing a "In God We Trust" pin on his apron. I suggest you look in your cash register, it has "In God we Trust" on every bill in the register. I've have enjoyed shopping at your store in Tyler Texas in the past but we also have a Lowes here so I will not bring my money into your store that has "In God we Trust" on it.

Plastic Bags - Informative
J's comments are just silly and unedjucated regarding of the use plastic bags at Home Depot.
Home Depot is doing the right thing. Plastic bags are recyclable and do not waist our natural resources, trees etc. We do not recycle paper products very much in this country.
We, the consumer are the guilty ones. We use them as trash can liners instead of recycling them.

Home Depot And Dogs Marietta Ga - No Dogs Alowed - Complaint
I was at the Home Depot today and an employee told a customer dogs were not allowed in the store. The customer was very rude to the employee and she said no one ever told me I couldn't bring my dog in the store and she mentioned she would take her business to Lowes.
Clearly there is a sign at the door showing you must wear shoes, no food and no pets. Some customers and employees are alegertic to animals.

40% Late Fee!! - Complaint
I purchased a gift card for $50.00 from Home Depot in December. I was out of the country for 3 weeks in January, when the bill cam in and the payment date passed.
I went to Home Depot to pay the bill when I returned to the US. The late fee that had been tagged on to my $50.00 bill was $20.00 making a total due of %71.01. That's it for me with Home Depot--------Lowes, here I come.

Poor Service - Service - Complaint
Have been back and forth to Home Depot numerous times. Most staff do not know a thing about their inventory. If you know where to look, that's ok, if not, good luck. Have been told conflicting things over and over and over.
We have something, we don't, don't know what that is, we don't carry that. Then find out after much trouble that they did, they do, or could be ordered.

This survey is a scam
After filling out page after page of survey questions for a free gifts you were then told you had to choose to sign up for at least one product offer.
This is not what you are told at the beginning; only after you are deep into the survey.

Home Depot/GECCC sent my account to an attorney, stated we were 120 late on our payments. Attorneys butt jammed us, although I prosted home depot was wrong, I even had proof. Attorney/Home Depot/GECCC Still continued their witch hunt. We now have a Charge off on our credit report, this has resulted in a dominos effect on our credit.
