Compliment Sunbeam space heater - Compliment

I bought a sunbeam space heater that shorted out... caused burn in wires in the outlet and at the base of the prongs. Scary.

Complaint Quartz Heater Caught Fire - Tower Quartz Heater Sqh310 - Complaint

Purchased a new tower quartz heater last week, model SQH310. I had it on right before I went to bed and the top right corner of the unit caught fire... flames were coming out of the top. The unit wouldn't shut off while it was burning so I unplugged it from the wall. Called Sunbeam 888-264-9669, but all they are doing is replacing it. I asked if the unit had any problems but couldn't get an answer.

I'm glad I didn't fall asleep.

Complaint Very unhappy - Sunbeam's Convertible Iron + steamer - Complaint

I just wanted people to know to wait until Sunbeam works out the kinks on the convertible Iron and steamer because it doesn't work very well at all! I tried to Iron a few things with it and it took 2 times as long and it was still wrinkled and the steamer wasn't very good either you have to hold it right up to the fabric to do anything and if it's thick don't even bother. Also it is very heavy. I love most of their products but this one still needs some work.

Complaint Electric Blanket - Complaint

My mother bought me a Sunbeam electric blanket from JCPenny for Christmas(08) last year. I may have used it five times if even that. Thanksgiving night I used it. It burned my knee. Its the size of a golden dollar. I'm blessed it didn't do more damage. If you are thinking about purchasing one from Sunbeam, please reconsider. I still have the wound. The blanket is Queen size with two controllers on it.

Complaint Not Heating - Electric Blanket - Complaint

PINK HILL, NORTH CAROLINA -- I bought an electric blanket last year. But for some reason it won't get very warm on high. I turn it on when I get home at 5:30 pm and at bed time it barely has the cold off the sheets. It's a queen size that I bought at Walmart. Seems like something could be done about this.

I'm out $120 and still can't get warm at night when I first go to bed.

Complaint Personal electric hair trimmer - Personal Hair Trimmer - Complaint

NEVADA -- I bought a Sunbeam brand personal electric hair trimmer for $8 at Wal-Mart. I bring it home and attempt to give my husband a hair cut...DIDN'T HAPPEN! The freakin thing didn't even take any of his hair off! I brought it back to Wal-Mart and exchanged it for a Conair hair cutting kit which was $20. The conair came with a whole crap load of stuff and it worked great! Don't waste your time or money on this Sunbeam product. Sometimes more expensive does mean better.
