USPS Priority Mail is just another U.S. Government scam. Two-day delivery? In a pig's eye! Don't waste your money. I routinely send packages from New York to California using priority mail. Never--not once--did it ever get there in less than 10 days. Send it first-class. It'll get there just as fast--or should I say just as slow!

LONGMONT, COLORADO -- Sent a Christmas gift on 12/19, 2 Day “Priority Mail.” Yeah, I know, too close to the holiday but 2 days should never turn into 7. If you can't get it there in 6 days, don't promise 2! Oh, and no refunds, ** you very much. There are better alternatives from companies that actually give a damn. Don't use USPS. They're just another government agency who's outlived their usefulness.

MINNESOTA -- United States Postal Office "Priority Mail" is nothing more than a scam. As of today April 20, 2018 I am still waiting for my package that was shipped on April 16 from 4 states away. USPS just doesn't care anymore... Some days (like yesterday April 19) a mailman does not even show up in my neighborhood. That's right... NO ONE in my neighborhood received any mail. Seems like they have the same not give-a-crap attitude of most other businesses in today's world.

DURHAM, NORTH CAROLINA -- A letter was mail to me on a Friday using the United States Postal Service Priority Mail Service for $6.00. As of the following Wednesday it still has not arrived. When you call the 800-222-1811 the hold time is 40-50 minutes. I held for 41 minutes and no one ever answered. It's really a ripoff. They could have just put a 50 cents stamp on it and got it here quicker. Don't waste your time if you're expecting quick delivery service.

SPRING LAKE, NORTH CAROLINA -- Mailed a Priority Flat Rate Envelope from Spring Lake, NC to Opelika AL. Expected it to be delivered no later than 10/22/17. Even the receipt says it should be delivered on 10/21. Today, 10/22, tracking shows it still in transit to the its destination city. What a rip-off. They charge for priority and handle it like routine mail and, from what I found, I can't even ask for a refund or partial refund. A USPS scam. Next time UPS. USPS is not reliable. No wonder they're going broke and always want to raise their prices.

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- Paid for tracked priority mail from Chicago Office but they failed to record it when they accepted the package, so it was effectively lost and out of the system for two days. Tracked when it arrived at the incoming PO only. CRAP SERVICE. Use someone else.

Called USPS and they have exactly the same information I have, update 'package in transit to destination as of the 21st', and that's all, ridiculous!

They Always Let Me Down, 2-3 Priority Mail
By -

COLORADO -- I ordered a watch for my sister on September 15, 2010. The best shipping method they offered was USPS 2-3 day Priority Mail. Now of course I know this is NOT the best shipping method, but I chose it so I could follow the feeble tracking information and have a delivery confirmation. Not really expecting to have it in less than 2 weeks, which is what I was told last time, priority mail can take up to. So much for the priority part.

This is what has me aggravated. It was missent somewhere along the way, and when I called USPS, the automation voice told me they cannot give me any tracking information, I MUST call my local post office. I called my local post office, and they also could not give me any information.

Here is my tracking information: Processed through Sort Facility, September 19, 2010, 11:37 pm, DENVER, CO 80217; Missent, September 18, 2010, 5:53 am; Processed through Sort Facility, September 16, 2010, 10:34 pm, DENVER, CO 80217; Electronic Shipping Info Received, September 16, 2010; Processed through Sort Facility, September 15, 2010, 7:44 pm, CINCINNATI, OH 45235. Apparently it was missent to where, who knows, on September 18, 2010. Wherever it is, I hope to see it before Christmas!
