FLORENCE , KENTUCKY -- Opened a pack of great value fruit smile snacks and found a giant black and purple blob of something. It had a very strange smell. My kid almost ate it but the smell made him stop. I have never seen anything like what we found in the package. We won't be purchasing that product anymore.

Manager at Walmart Did Not Know the Price Match Policy! - Complaint
ALTUS, OKLAHOMA -- My friend and I drove over 90 miles to the Walmart in Altus, OK to price match a item that required a store card at Walgreens and I was told they could not price match. The cashier called the manager over and she said that they could not do it. We called the 1-800-Walmart and were told it was up to the manager at the store. Harassed Leaving Parking Lot - Complaint
IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO -- While waiting for the light to change while leaving Walmart, a very large person holding a sign started pounding on my car window asking for money. It frightened my grandkids who were in the back seat. I know the store can have signs put up to stop these people from bothering customers. Unless you have a lot of free time, DO NOT try to win $1000.00 by filling out the form as suggested at the top of your receipt. I DID.
I immediately began receiving E-mail from every vendor except the builders

Christmas Tree - Informative
OWASSO , OKLAHOMA -- They had both Christmas trees up at our Walmart a couple of weeks ago and I noticed today they were both down. The cashier didn't have an answer for me but she did say that they were not allowed to decorate the poles that are on the registers. So much for the Christmas spirit, they want your money though.

Ever since Starlord posted a review about Eddy's smoked turkey legs... I have been on a quest to find them. Each time I went to Wal-mart they never had them.

Why Did They Shorten The Christian Book Area - Complaint
OZARK , ALABAMA -- I think it is terrible that they shortened the Christian book area now have to go else where to buy a book, and they should think about putting benches through the store for the elderly or handicapped to rest for a while. I know I am handicapped and wish there was a bench to rest for a minute.

Don't Buy Walmart Electronic Insurance - Scam - iPod - Complaint
Bought insurance on a ipod and when we sent it in to where the insurance said they just sent it right back and said it had water damage etc. We understood they would replace if needed and they will not.

I ordered a gas grill (2500 BTU dual burner) and (I think)25 piece accessory kit for 107.00. Order #2677740-181799. This was a package deal. Received notice that accessory kit was received at my local WalMart. Then received word that it was lost! and then received word the 25000 BTU grill was delayed in shipping----then received word it was gone!!!! Steaks - "Steak House" brand steaks - Complaint
Walmart's steaks are THE worst. The beef is marinated and when cooked is far too salty, the consistency of a tender rubber eraser, and with about as much flavor. It's almost "synthetic." A store employee told me the marinade is to extend shelf-life and add weight to the meat.

Working during snow storms - Complaint
I have worked for WalMart for more than 3 years and I can tell you that WalMart's first and foremost concern is grabbing every nickle and dime from consumers hands.
During snowstorms employees are expected to work, but can opt not to work, but without pay. The notion of closing early or not at all is not even in WalMart's thinking.

The meat tastes processed. If I want to drop over $16 for two ribeye steaks, they better be good. Well, they're not, salty and the texture is just all wrong.
Walmart was good enough to return my money, but my dinner was still ruined, and I had to wind up eating a bowl of cereal for my main corse.

Information on Age Limitations on the Electric Carts - Electric Carts - Informative
I am looking for the age limitations on usage of Amigo Value Shoppers electric carts used at Wal Mart. I was told that anyone from the age of one to ? can ride them regardless if they have a disability or not. My worry is a child that is one year old that may have autism may become angry at the parent because they did not buy them that special video game or toy and want to take it out on the people that shop there or the merchandise.

No Justice - Complaint
SILVER CITY, NEW MEXICO -- In June of 2010 I was verbally assaulted by a employee at Silver City Walmart. There were witnesses and I also was working with a client who also witnessed the altercation. I had someone call management they came and talked to me and the witnesses. I called the district manager also. They told me that the incident was unacceptible. FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA -- During the tornado in Anoka, we went to stop at K-mart because it was the closest store around us and we were away from home. But K-mart turned us away because it was almost closing time. So we when to Wal-mart and even though they took us in and they told us on weather reports. They kept us safe. I'm really thankful for them. The manager was standing by the door and helping everybody in with their kids. Then they also served us cookies for the kids and everybody. Size reduction in packages - food - Complaint
Not sure if anyone has noticed or not, but the food packages, for example, pasta noodles, are much smaller than previous. Even the pasta shells are much smaller and the box holds fewer ounces. I hear roll back roll back on TV but I see why they can say that because less product is in the package.

Animal Cruelty - Pork - Complaint
I just heard on KDKA news that a pig farm in central Pa. that provides pork to Wal Mart is guilty of cruelty to animals, the pigs are kept in pens to small to even turn around, they are also guilty of mis-handling the pigs, even ripping off their testicles with their bare hands without the use of pain killers, among other offenses.

SALEM, OREGON -- My 23 year old daughter went grocery shopping... along with her groceries she attempted to purchase a 6 pack of beer. Her 5 year old son was with her so they refused to sell her the beer stating that everyone shopping with her has to be over the age of 21 to purchase alcohol.

Walmart Ribeye Steak ( Delmonico ) Strange - Ribeye Steak - Complaint
I am very disappointed with the $15 ribeye we just cooked on the grill. It has the texture of a ham steak, is very salty, and does not taste very good. Neither my husband and I make it past the first bite. It says on the package that it is 'enhanced' in a solution (must be salt and who knows what else).

TOMS RIVER, NEW JERSEY -- Now that WalMart has effectively put the "Rag Shop" (a discount yarn and craft store)out of business, they are reducing or eliminating these items from their stores. Dents In Cars In Walmart Parking Lot - Complaint
OHIO -- Two weeks ago my wife had her new 2007 Honda, which was parked in the employee designated area by the store. It was hit two times on the drivers side of car, by carts flying around the lot in a high wind... Management was told about it and the attitude was and is (too bad). I am the guy who has to pay $500.00 deductible to have it fixed... The company Walmart should be held accountable...

Personal Safety - Safety - Informative
EAST STROUDSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA -- Please do not go to this store alone at night. Do not camp in the lot with your children either. Many serious crimes including a murder, rape, and most recently, a kidnapping on July 4, 2007, have occurred here. Management is less than adequate and the security is virtually worthless, mostly teens and old men. Security cameras are inoperable by employees as well. I got a giftcard for my tenth birthday. I don't know how much is left.
You should have something where you can check how much money you have on your giftcard online like Mcdonalds does. There you can put in the pin number on the gift card and it tells him how much is left on the card and how much you spent and when. WINDSOR, CALIFORNIA -- This is in respect for the Walmart in Califorina. Specifically in Windsor. I heard this one from an employee. This is about calling in sick. Thier gonna expect the employees to call an 800 number located back east at Walmart's HQ. Also thier gonna fix employee's hours from thier HQ. Security saved our child - Informative
I have always taught my nine year old son to go to the nearest store when someone tried to kidnap him, this happened last week, some guy was in a car and tried to offer my son a ride. Wal-Mart is for losers - Complaint
I went to Wal-Mart the other day and saw that they were promoting the military. C'mon guys, the military sucks! And religion too, which sucks even worse. Jesus liked to bake brownies. Also, they didn't have any of my favorite comics at Wal-Mart either, like Poonheads. Not to mention that they never have any of my favorite games like Halo. D@mn, why is Wal-Mart still around? How come - regesters - Complaint
GEORGIA -- How come when you go into any wal-mart they have about 40-60 regesters and only have 5 open...and they are backed up to the clothing isle. the self checkouts are no better and the 10 items or less checkouts has some one there with half a cart full.
just think of all the money they could have saved on all those unused cash reg.

False Rumors - Informative
There are way too many false rumors out there about Wal-Mart. Off the clock work, forced overtime, no lunch break, discrimination, etc. I assure you that none of this is true and if it is, it goes solely against company policy. Wal-Mart is one of the best companies I've ever worked for. Hour lunch break, good hours, a very laid back dress code, getting paid a dollar extra per hour on Sundays, getting paid double on holidays, etc. -- Posted by Dr. Jeecheroo on 05/24/2005

TORONTO -- I just wanted to comment on all of the complaints I have heard from walmart associates. Walmart is a terrible place to work. I would advise everyone to look for other jobs and to let friends know.

BATHROOMS!!! - Complaint
