Gas ranges - gas range poor customer service - Complaint

Purchase a 1000.00 range from whirpool and the burner caps are all peeling- called customer service told me not under warranty item is cosmetic and you would have to purchase new ones. Range is less than 6 monthes old !!!
Do not purchase Whirlpool ever !!!

Whirlpool Products and Customer service is CRAP - Kitchenaide Electronic range Model KES307HBL6 - Complaint

This range is approximately 7-8 year old TOP of the line electronic convection oven. Unit has STOPPED working--- Electronic keypad ( BAD ) was ordered on October 2011. Kitchaide customer service representative says "part is unavailable at this time try getting it repaired by someone in an electronics repair facility!!!! WTF- New replacement range unit from Kitchenaide is $2,000.00 PLUS. You can bet your butt I'll NEVER buy anything made by Whirlpoop AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beware of black Schott Ceran cook tops - Whirlpool Ceran top range problems - Complaint

A Whirlpool/Maytag electric range with black glass Schott Ceran top was purchased 3 weeks ago by a couple who only eat at home about 4 nights a week. Following the care instructions to the letter, the top, which can take 20 minutes to clean after use, now has tiny scratches around the heat elements. I can't imagine how it will look after a year or two.

I suggest that the Schott Ceran material is inappropriate for a cook top and as such should be withdrawn from the market.

Compliment to Whirlpool - Gas Range - Compliment

BENTON HARBOR, MICHIGAN -- I put a complaint review on here and within 1 week the problem was resolved with Whirlpool. They are sending me free of charge the parts to repair my stove. My review was with Whirlpool and a stove that I had purchased. Thank you very much for your help.

They were very friendly and very helpful in resolving my problem.

Oven and Broiler Died - Whirlpool Range - Complaint

LAQS VEGAS, NEVADA -- Bought a new house in 2006 with all Whirlpool appliances. Three and one half years later: Dishwasher burned out (motor) Range onen/brioler stopped working, refer is now making very loud noises when the compressor kicks on. Cost of repairs so far= $315 for dishwasher, $285 for the range and an estimate of $445 for the refer if the compressor goes out. I'm done with Whirpool and any brand they manufcture. These appliances just shouldn't fail this quickly. I'll buy Samsung from now on.

Super Capacity 465 - Super Fragile - Gas Range Parts - Complaint

I purchased a mobile home which included a nearly new range oven. Cooktop seems fine but the oven door fell off and on a later pull of the handle, broke and seals also broke.

Materials may be heat resistant but appear to be like magnesium...fractures easily.

Beware - Gold range GW395LEPB02 - Informative

TUXEDO, NEW YORK -- If only I had read the reviews before I spent in excess of $1100 for this range...now I know too late that the touch pad has an obvious defect, as I've seen numerous consumer complaints about this.

If you have had a problem with the touch pad of any Whirlpool range, and have documentation, contact me as I'm looking into a class action against Whirlpool as they must be aware of this problem, yet keep selling it, defects and all.

Self cleaning - whirlpool gas range super capacity 465 - Complaint

34211, FLORIDA -- I used the self clean a few times with no problem. The last time i used it, it melted my control panel. Called Whirlpool and they told me i had to pay to get the panel replaced. I want to know if any body else has had this happen?
