LAKELAND, FLORIDA -- Whirpool washers including Roper, Crosley, Estate, Kitchen Aid, & all Maytag brands now owned by Whirpool are crap. BUYER BEWARE! THEIR MACHINES ARE CRAP. Do yourself a favor pay a little extra and buy a SPEED QUEEN they are the best on the market.

Washer not good - low water washer - Complaint

The amount of water allowed is not enough to clean clothes. I have to use very small loads and therefore have to use more electric and a lot more time to do laundry. Worst machine I ever had.

Sensors on my washer - whirlpool - Complaint

I bought a Whirlpool washer last year and every since I bought I have had nothing but trouble from a thing call atc sensing switch after so long the washer won't do anything I called Whirlpool corp. talk to some lady about the problem and they say there's nothing we can do accept keep changing the sensors when they go out I have had at least eigth sensors put on my washer since I had it. I don't know what else to do or say this is a bad situation.

Quality of product and service - Washer - Complaint

Bought a washer, control panel went out after 1 mth, they can not even work around our schedule. To send someone, I took a day off, for some guy to come out to tell me this, company said it will take 7 days to get part to vendor. So it has now been 2 weeks and still waiting. Never go with Whirlpool, a company this big needs to learn how to please customers.

Rusting part ruins laundry - washing machine - Complaint

My Whirlpool washing machine is a lemon. The bolt that holds the agitator in place has rusted. The edges of the lid had rusted so I replaced that under warranty, then the hinge was rusted so I cleaned and painted that. Now I find that the bolt and washer are flaking rust. What a horrid product.

NO Customer Service - Whirlpool WTW58ESVW1 Washer - Complaint

Bought a brand new machine that was broken out of the box. Whirlpool refuses to give me a new machine and requires four repair visits before they will do so. Bear in mind that five visits count as four. The first two are considered one. TERRIBLE customer service. Defective product. I will never buy anything from this pathetic company again and advise everyone else to do the same. Replace your defective product or get out of the business.

Estate Washer - Complaint

I hate this Washing Machine! It has torn 3 pieces of my brand new clothes up, putting holes in my fine cotton T-shirts. I should have gone with a different brand. Even though this is the cheapest model they have, it should still protect my clothing! I am furious! DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER!

Buy anything but Whirlpool! - Sharp plastic pieces the ice! A washer that cant spin gooonly a few years old!!! - Complaint

I almost swallowed a sharp piece of plastic that my ice maker served me. It was in my mouth, it look like a sharks tooth. This is the second time we have had a repair issue, the last time we had to replace the contactor.
Our washer and dryer have been trouble too.
Buy a better product if your shopping around don't choose Whirlpool.

Washer - Whirlpool WTW5200VC model 5770 - Complaint

I purchased a new Whirlpool washer and after the very first wash the washer continues to trickle water into the tub. So after an hour or so the tub was half full of water and I had to run the spin cycle again. I cut the water supply off after every wash so it does not fill up the tub.

Legacy Washer - Informative

INDIANA -- This is one of the worst washing machines I have ever owned. It is noisy and clunks every time I use it. I can't believe Maytag puts out such a a piece of junk.

Water On Lid After Wash - Calypso Washer - Complaint

NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA -- My Calypso is a top loader. After the load is finished washing about a cup of water spills on to the spun dry clothes from the lid. Has anyone else
had this problem if so have you fixed it and how?

Noisy - Calypso Washer - Compliment

My Calypso washer cleans great, even King size comforter. However; it is very noisy while "rocking" the clothes.

Defective right out of the box - Whirlpool top-loading washer model WTW5800STW0 - Complaint

POTOMAC, MARYLAND -- Our brand new Whirlpool top-loading washer ($589 incl delivery and installation) was defective - the repairman said the timer had to be replaced. After two weeks delay to get the part, he installed a new timer and the problem persists! The machine only comes with a 30-day warranty on labor - one year on parts.

Now we have to start all over with dealing with the warranty service dept. I am disappointed Whirlpool products are shipped with such defects.

Whirlpool washer - Washer - Compliment

I have a whirlpool washer for the past 11 years and it has worked beautifully. I have never had to call in a service man during the ten years I had it. Upon until recently though whenever I am doing a wash load it shuts down after the first 10 minutes or so and automatically comes back on about 30 minutes. later.

What exactly could be the problem.

P.S. If I need to replace this machine I will certainly purchase another just like it.
