My3cents.com - hi-tech ticket scalping?

Review by Anonymous on 2005-06-10
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS -- As a consumer from your state, I felt it was my responsibility to bring to your attention the following incident.

hi,
as a consumer i have some questions regarding Ticket for events, I know that its against the law to scalp tickets , buy tickets and sale them for more than face value..I live in San Antonio Tx, and the spurs are in the finals I find it very disturbing that a fan stands 3 hours in line to buy tickets for any event like say the nba finals get to the window only to find out they are sold out then you try to find a ticket at a honeset price but then you find all these companys like besttickets.com or ticketcity.com that buy out all the tickets at face value only to sale them online for a rediculously way over price than the actual value of the ticket.. exsample a ticket for the finals game usally runs $100-$200 for good seats and they sale them priced at $1,000 -$3,500 online thats just wrong.... it rips off who the tickets are ment for the fans...who cant afford that much for a single ticket to see their favorite band or team ...play thier are laws to stop scalpers on or around the hosting property why arent there any laws for people doing the exact same thing online it should be a gainst the law for them to do this and should be stopped as a consumer what can I do about this thanks

As a resolution, I would like the following:

I dont know what action can be taken local authority stops it ,it's a crime! period some kind of national policy should be put in place for this kind of crimal acctivity thanks for your time..

Please contact me if you need more details regarding this incident.

You typed the word "period", but never actually used one when you wrote this complaint.
