Alamo Rental Complaint - Money Rip Off - Rental Agreement

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- When I rental the car at Chicago. I paid 42.99 for gas on rental agreement so I not need to rush to get gas when I was on way to airport. I realized I did not used car too much whole weekend. So I called and asked them if can discount to pay 1/4 gas then rest of left money to refund? Of course, they said no. I agree with this one because I signed agreement.
Then they said your charged on bank is 48.99 somewhat. I was like what? No way, I have the paper said 42.99 not almost 50 dollars. They said This cost 48.99 because of the tax. I was like It is wrong because I have paper said "PAYMENT cost 42.99" even worse the paper already said tax cost that total 42.99, how the heck I get almost 50 dollars. Of course I was objected and they were hung on me. so screw them! Suggest don't get gas rental agreement. Pay pump on your own time, not them! They smell our money! For sure their eyes are fullest of $$$.

Dispute the difference with your credit card company. You have the contract that shows the original price both parties agreed to, and now they charged you an amount you did not agree to.

when ever i rent a vehicle, i always use the gas option. saves time on returning the vehicle. although it does seem unfair when i use 1/8 of a tank of gas. i also pay tax on gas option.
