Kfc - No Service at the Drive Thru

WEST VIRGINIA -- Going to one of our favorite places to eat. KFC on West Washington Street in Charleston, WV. Went to the drive thru to place our order, March 10th, 2012 and sat there for almost a half hour. No one came on the speaker to even acknowledge us. So needless to say we pulled out and went to another restaurant down the street. The food is great, but the service at that particular KFC is terrible to say the least.

I wonder if the sensor in the drive thru was broken? It's certainly a possibility. Instead of driving off, the OP might have just pulled forward to the window to let them know they were there. Just a suggestion from a consumer that's experienced the exact same situation before:)

Why would you sit there for 1/2 hour? As J4All stated probably a bad sensor.
