Metro Blue Line - The Loud Air Blowing All Through the Night

Complaint

CALIFORNIA -- The people of Compton California were tired of hearing the loud air horn all day long from the Blue Line back and forth. We are tax paying people and something needs to be done. One Friday a group of us rode the train just to see do they blow the air horn in other cities.

NO, not in Longbeach Anahiem not at all so we need to complain to somebody to get our complaint across. It start right at Willowbrook where they build the new condos and were tired of hearing it we notice some people don't blow like the others. Something needs to be done.

Sounds like a city ordinance needs to be passed to get this irritating problem solved. I can imagine what this does to property values in your area. Who would want to live there?

The horns are required by the Federal Railway Administration. The City can enter into an agreement where the City takes responsibility for any liability which may occur, adds secondary signaling devices for warning the public, however.

Reminds me of the apartment complex I lived in during college. The tracks were 20 feet from where I lived. The trains honked at all hours. Having grown up literally a stone's throw from the interstate, I got used to it pretty quick. Wish I could say the same of my drunken neighbors, lol.
