RIPON, CALIFORNIA -- I wish to remove Google as my search engine. Reason being is that Google has completed research on customers with out their knowledge or permission. I resent this secret gathering of information and no longer wish to be associated with Google.

This request is impossible to accomplish by contacting Google on line. This conduct is what one would expect from a subversive organization.

If you are using firefox you can click the small google icon in the upper right corner of your browser and either choose another search engine or add one such as bing.com. Or you could set bing.com as your homepage (or any other search engine). If you are using Internet Explorer 9 you can click on tools and internet options and there is a setting on the first tab to control your search engines.

Simply don't use Google search engine for anything then they won't have any information to gather. Find another search engine and use it. I never use Google myself.
