Kohl's - Kohls Is a Great Company
Return of Merchandise - Compliment

Yesterday I decided to return a pair of jeans I had bought several months ago. I bought 4 pair of jeans in March in Arizona during a sale and tried one pair on for fit. They fit perfectly. Moving forward - I did not actually wear any of the jeans until I returned home to Indiana in April. By the beginning of May I decided to wear (for the first time) the black pair. They seemed a way big but I truly did think they would shrink while washing so I washed in hot water and dried on high. No luck - they still were way too big.
I had another pair I hadn't worn yet and compared the two. The black jeans were at least 3" wider all the way around than the unworn pair. I found my monthly bill and packed up the black jeans and the unworn ones and headed to Kohls. I was unsure what they would do but was hoping I could at least exchange them. I presented the jeans, told my story, stated I thought the jeans were mismarked at the factory because they were at least 2 sizes too big, and, low and behold the girl asked if I would like to exchange them. I said yes, but they did not have any in that color in my size so she credited my account with the return. I will ALWAYS shop at Kohls. I had planned to give the pants to Goodwill if I could not return them.

I have never had a problem with a return at Kohl's. Sometimes the return will effect the value of Kohl's cash, which can be used at a future date for a purchase. They simply give me a gift certificate to make up the difference. This is retail done right, they take care of the customer. Are you listening Sears and Best Buy?
