NORTH ATTLEBORO, MASSACHUSETTS -- I brought my tailgate to macco in North Attleboro MA..the owner came out took a look give me a quote and insured me it would be perfect,,how hard could it be to paint a tailgate???2 days later I got a call saying it was ready...i went down to get it..it was wet as they where washing it ..i asked if they could dry it so I could take a look at it properly..i noticed a paint drip on bottom corner, and about 40 dust specs under the sealer..when I told the guy about it ,,he told and quote ..don't bother me about that...that's what you get for that price and if I wanted it fixed I would have to pay for it...i told him to go to hell and fix it!!after about 10 minutes off arguing he backed down and said he would fix it..i got it back 2 days later looks like crap ..u can see where there just wet sanded it out...DO NOT USE MACCO THEY ARE TERRIBLE

This is pretty much what I would expect from Maaco, from end to end.

Like many things in life, with body/paint repair you do get what you pay for. Maaco is cheap for a reason. I worked part time in real body shop whilst in school. One of the ongoing jokes was that some would yell out "Here comes the ambassador" whenever a car with a new, but terrible paint job would come in. The Ambassador is the name the cheapest paint job macco offers. I'd say a good 20% of our business were people who first went to macco and were unhappy with the the results.

MAACO is the worst aout body/painters ever. They are cheap for a reason, Their work is horrible adn they don't always use the best paints. I learned the hard way, now if I need body or paint work I have it done by a local guy that won't cheap out. His work is perfect! I even had him paint a refridgerator for my "man cave", it came out great!
