PIKESVILLE, MARYLAND -- I spoke to a Ruth [snip] to get an extension on my bill and my services was still suspended. A post dated check was posted and cashed and I still had to write another post dated check to get my services

I don't know why you expect them to continue providing service to you if you have outstanding debt with them. Perhaps when you pay off your debt entirely, your service will be restored.
