OKEMOS, MICHIGAN -- Hello, I took my daughter there who is 16 years old and she was very offended when an employee by the name of Tiffany handed her a children's menu with crayons. After we had informed her that she was not a child she still did not bring an adult menu for my daughter and I had to share mine with her. She also forgot part of our order. I was not very impressed and I will not return until I am informed that she was communicated with on her behavior.

Did you talk to a manager. Regardless if you did, they won't tell you how an employee was disciplined.

This happened to me a few times when I was a teen. I have always looked much younger than I am and I am short. I would get offended too when I was handed a child's menu at age 15 and 16. My mom one time had to get up and get an adult's menu herself. They probably won't tell you if they disciplined this employee, but I do hope you at least told a manger what happened. Maybe they can educate the waitress to ask if someone needs a child or adult menu instead of just assuming.

I don't think I'd be offended over something like this...but that's just me. I have the opposite problem with my daughter. She's 12 and as tall as I am (5' 7") and I often get questioned or the "look" when I say she's 12.
