Sprint Nextel - Is there any help available to help me get out of a mobile phone contract with Sprint due to the unjustifiable terrible service

HTC Evo 3d and Sprint's phone and internet service

Despite eight months of complaints on my behalf and concessions on Sprints end, the company will not let me out of the contract without having to pay a $300.00 termination fee. Previously, my experience with Sprint was not good because they would overcharge the family plan of which I was a member each and every month. Every billing cycle I am on the phone with them for upwards of two hours.

It sounds like you are being consistent about this. These big companies don't listen to reason. That is why the only way to get them to listen is to be unreasonable.

Start calling every day. Speak to one person, then speak to a supervisor. Re-iterate the service problems you have been having and allow them to present a solution. Then call back the next day, reiterate the problem, describe the solution explained previously and check on a status. Ask for a supervisor.
Every call should build on the previous. Re-iterate to them.
Don't get mad, don't yell, and stay calm. Don't give them a reason to hang up on you. Call day after day.

Contracts work in two ways: What you are to do and what they are to do. If they are not doing what they are supposed to do, you certainly have recourse.

Be sure you have everything documented, then file a small claims suit. Depending on where you live, you may have to file a different kind of suit. The Clerk of Court should be able to advise.

I would go ahead and pay the termination fee of $300 since your monthly bill add up to more than $300.

I agree with Chuh. I had the same issue, horrible service on my Sprint phone. It turns out they don't have towers in my zipcode but never bothered to tell me before selling me the plan. I continued to call everyday and state that I wanted to document in my file that I was still not receiving the service I was paying for in my contract. I did it everyday for about 5 or 6 days straight and they finally escalated and asked what I was trying to do. I stated I was simply documenting that I continued to pay for service that was not being provided to me per the terms of our agreement and at that point they agreed to waive teh ETF

The problem nowadays with cell companies is that the contract is no longer based on the service in an area. The contracts now are you get a phone at a discount if you pay for a wireless number for 2 years. They use to waive the ETF fees is someone moved out of the country, but now they don't.

Before I moved my service, I asked my neighbors what service they used and how it worked in our area.
