Best Buy - Willing to Reverse Money From Regular Price to Sales Price Without a Receipt

BEAVERTON, OREGON -- Hello all,
On August 10th, I bought Toshiba Satellite P875-S7200 for 699.99 using a major credit card. The manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) was 875 dollars. I selected that model because it is most suitable laptop for me. I was told that I had thirty days to return this product if I disliked it.
On September 1st, I went to Best Buy with my friend and showed him that laptop I bought on August 10th. To my surprise, it was on sale for 649.99 (Labor Day Sales). I went and spoke with the salesperson. The salesperson was very helpful which he took me over to the counter. At first, I did not have receipt which I was willing to go back home to get it, but they said that if I had that card, they could check out. So, I gave my card and they found that purchase.
Best Buy reversed 50 dollars on my major credit card which the price was reduced from 699.99 to 649.99 and gave me a new receipt. I thanked them so much for willing to do this. The whole thing was done in about five minutes.
Meanwhile, it hasn't yet been reversed on my bank online, but I do expect it to be reverse within a few days similar to the purchase that I made which didn't show up until couples of days later.
Best Buy, thanks! I will return to your store to get Wii-U when it comes out later. I will refer you to my friends and family for your excellent customer service.

This is standard Best Buy policy - they will refund the difference if you find the same product at a Best Buy store within the return and exchange period. It's nice that they can locate purchases using your credit card.

TRMN8R - I didn't know that, but they were willing to help without receipt on the eleventh hour before sale ended! So far, no refund yet on credit card, but should be this week.
