Maytag - Neptune Is Garbage

VANCOUVER -- Just had a service man tell me that my Neptune washer is going to need a 1100.00 Dollar repair because a simple bearing has failed on the tub I'm so pissed this machine is only six years old. There are only four people in this house and you would at least expect ten years out of an appliance. When I was a kid my parents bought the cheapest sears appliances and they lasted for decades, and there was nine people in my fathers house! Best part was the service guy telling me he just did a repair on a 35 year old set of maytags

Could have told you that Neptune was junk years ago. Just check out all of the complaints about it on this site alone.

I have one as well. If I would of done my research before buying I would of NEVER bought one. Broke not long after I bought it - got it fixed - Black mold growing on rubber sealing inside front loader.
