Kmart - They simply refuse to cancel my order!

ONLINE PURCHASE, NEW YORK -- On the 27th of November I bought a bed online from KMart. A few hours later I decided to cancel, I was told at that point it was not possible to do that I should call back in 24hr. I placed a call the very next morning with the cancellation request. I was told by that Rep. A cancellation was already put in however she promised to process another. For some strange reason my account was still charged and the product shipped. I spoke to a supervisor and was told that their vendor refused to cancel the order. Even now I have not seen a dime of my money back from them. And I am dealing with a whole lot of rudeness and push around and of course all my checks for that period bounced since KMart decided they had a right to my money. So now off to Consumer Affairs I go. Today's date 12/07/2012

Kmart and Sears typically advertise products as a third party on their website. After purchasing, they have nothing more to do with the transaction.
Was there any indication that the purchased could be canceled? You may be incorrect in the assumption that you are entitled to reverse the order.

As AYS suggests, it may not be possible to cancel an order once placed. This is common these days with online retailers. Their operations are stramlined to ship ASAP.
