Cracker Barrel - Dry Food for Carryout

ALBANY, GEORGIA -- We ordered a carry dinner for our Christmas dinner. The items included: turkey sliced, gravey and dressing. The turkey was very dry. The gravey was tastless. The dressing not completely cooked. I guess I must not understood the food was for people on a diet and liked partial cook food. I will remember not to order precook meal for carry out in the future. I can say the food is good when dining in. The gift shop is well kept and the crew in that area know what they are doing. Merry Christmas.

I gave up on Cracker Barrel 4 years ago. The service was very uneven, and too often an inexperienced cook prepared my meal. Then there were to two times I got minor food poisoning from poorly stored salad dressing. IMO, you'd be better off to leave them on the trash heap and shove off to brighter shores.
