MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO -- If a consumer is mistreated by unethical business practices in Ontario, Canada, they can complain to the government's Consumer Protection Services. You can Google it. They investigate all consumer complaints and if an organization is found to be engaging in fraudulent or misleading business practices, they can be fined up to $250,000. You may even get a refund. But make sure you have all the evidence to back up your claims or you'll be unsuccessful in your efforts.
