I use the self-service copy/print service A LOT. Last year I spent just under $1,000. Most of my purchases were not factored into my rewards. When I called to inquire, the $taple$ CS representative told me a sneaky little $taple$ trick: if you use more than one machine (say, moving from a black and white machine to a color copier) and swipe your rewards card at the end of your session, only the charges from the first machine count. My rewards should have totaled nearly $100. $taple$ only issued me $38 in rewards.
Haha on them. I learned that my town library (closer than $taple$) lets you make color copies for 40¢. At $taple$, they cost 49¢ plus state sales tax. So from now on I'm skipping the rewards hassle, doing my work at the library and coming out ahead. Plus the atmosphere is much nicer!
