Last month I purchased a new vehicle from Spitzer in Amherst, Ohio. I have been happy with my new car buying experience until it came to the bank that was recommended to me by the dealer. Chase is by far the poorest excuse for a bank that I have ever experienced. The people that they employ should have their jobs outsourced to India and Pakistan.
The majority of the employees in north America act like they are the customer when you call to attempt to fix their mistakes.
If you ever have a bank employee screw up your social security number all I can say is good luck! These morons didn't only screw up my number in their system however they wanted me to prove to them what my SSN is. The funniest thing is when an outsourced employee in India or Pakistan is asking for you to fax a copy of your social security card to him. You cannot make up how screwed up Chase's operations are until you have to contact them to attempt to fix their mistake.
After six or seven hours of phone calls they have fixed my SSN on one of the screens. They miraculously accomplished this feat by reviewing a copy on the contract which is in their possession in adobe acrobat. It took phone calls to over twelve employees to accomplish getting them to fix the problem which is on their end
I am now attempting to get them to credit the fee that I incurred by paying online. Yes, Chase charges customers $10.00 for online transactions. However if you are willing to expand your adventure in masochism by giving them additional business by signing up for a
checking account they will allow that transaction fee to be waived.
My advice to you is that if you are in the market for an
auto loan and Chase is an option then don't walk....run!
