Had my car towed to Pep Boys on Wednesday 8-10-06 at 8 AM. Called the store to see if I needed to come down to the store to get my car repaired and they said no - they would check it out and call with the diagnoses. Waited until 3 PM and called them back. The idiot now said that the car can't be diagnosed until I signed some papers.

Drove to Pep Boys and signed the papers. Another idiot (Pep Boys has many) behind the counter said it would be diagnosed in a couple of hours. Well, Ok. I guess Friday, two days later and 5 phone calls is good time. And of course they parked the car outside so my stereo got stolen. Thanks to the rapid diagnosis all I needed to get my car fixed in record time was a new distributor. No one could have seen this coming – they were out of stock. But that’s ok because their crack crew ordered the part and said it would be here in five days. After another week the part still was not in and nobody new exactly what part the car needed – my car has two different distributors for that year. I tried asking what distributor my car needed and if I found it somewhere else could they install it? Problem is nobody at Pep Boys knows which distributor my car needs or which one they ordered. It’s headed towards three weeks and the part still has not come in.

Don’t ever let the three stooges Many, Moe and Jack work on your car. VB
