Dear Wells Fargo,
I have been a good customer since the !st Interstate takeover, ( I was with 1st Interstate for 9 years.) and my account was in Las Vegas for 5-6 years, and the Albertsons branch was wonderful!!
We moved home to Montana for our retirement, and after some local abuse concerning deposits.(Dillon put a hold on deposits of thousands of dollars for 10 to 14 days, more than once), and the lady said we should have our account here in Dillon, and that wouldn't happen.
So we changed to here.
When we were victims of on line identity theft at our Wells Fargo account, (you have no site key), like BofA and others, they were terrible, and said call someone else, we can,t help.
Just before Christmas, we found that our Son, who is on our account, had made some purchases that put us over in our
checking .( at first we feared the identity thief had done it.) We found that they had pay'd these and we were at a negative balance, and they did it in a way that was devastating, ( Some 400- 500 dollars in fees, ) They didn't call or notify us for 5 or 6 days, ( our town is so small, everyone, is on speed dial), We spoke to a lady at the 800 # and she said they could reduce those, and to go to our local branch, so we did, and they were so unwilling to help.
We made a deposit for $3,400 to correct this, we also found that when we had made a few online deposits, they pay'd our Direct Deposit advance, so we were forced to do this twice in a month, and we didn't know this, so we went to them, and they were vicious, and told us more overdraft fees.
They said that they had put some supper nasty hard hold on our account that would hurt us,they canceled our cards, and the evil man said we couldn't talk to the Bank Pres. because she was out of town and he had talked to her and we could just suffer !!! My wife of 36 years cried for two days, ( it was the day before Christmas for crying out loud!).
