I purchased a
computer from
Gateway in 1997. It never operated properly. I have taken my hard drive to the store where it was purchased 3 times. The first time the tech said he couldn't find anything wrong with it and returned it to me to try again. The 2nd time the tech stripped it and reloaded it and returned it to me to try again.
The 3rd time, after keeping it a very long time without a follow up phone call, the tech said my mother board was shot. It was replaced and/or repaired and returned to me. When I next used the computer I noticed that not all programs were reloaded (as it had come when it was purchased). Such as Megaphone was missing. I phoned the tech and told him. He told me to use the Gateway Restoration Disc to load it. I tryed only to receive error messages stating missing drivers. I later notice the DVD player would not play. And later the printer would only print in black (not in color), then later would not print in black - error stating lost drivers.
I am tired of getting the run around, shoddy
service. I do not like the service Gateway provides at the Mission Viejo Store.
My computer is no longer under
warranty but I want something done to create goodwill with this unsatisfied customer. I have saved all receipts.
To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:
Repaired or replaced
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
