My son and daughter-in-law were expecting twins. They registered at
Target. My daughter-in-law has a wide circle of relatives and friends so they received a lot of duplicates and a much more "newborn" size clothes than they could use.
The boys were born on March 30 and once they were settled at home, my son and DIL started going through the gifts.
My daughter-in-law started exchanging the (unwrapped) newborn sized clothes for larger sizes.
After two
returns, she is now banned from returning any more items for a calendar year.
She tried to explain her problem and even had the twins with her to show the
customer service (??) people.
She was told there are no exceptions to this rule.
If Target is trying to drive customers away, they're doing a great job.
