Claim Jumpers Compliment - Great Management

Compliment
Review by romek on 2007-06-03
HOFFMAN ESTATE, ILLINOIS -- On multiple occasions they have always comped our food if it was bad or wrong. Sometimes they bought us a desert. They know how to make up for a mistake.

We've been to Claim Jumpers just 2 - 3 times, not because of bad service or food, but because its too far to drive on a regular basis. The food was great, and service was wonderful every time, and I have no complaints....well, let me rephrase that...my ONLY complaint is that they don't have a restaurant close enough for us to go to on a regular basis!!! (We brought home what we couldn't eat and had 2 - 3 more meals!!!)

I've been to the Claim Jumpers in Hoffman Estates... We enjoyed... good atmosphere... good food. Though we tried to go back the other night and it was a 90 min wait... Must mean others agree with us. Glad to hear they have good customer service as well.

Lidman, you don't know what you are missing!!!! Great place...deer antler chandeliers, all the fans are operated on one LONGGGGGGGGGGG belt and pulley system, the place is like stepping back in history to a degree. The booths are large and comfortable and somewhat private....even their TV dinners are good....you gotta give it a try!!

Lid's, they put Claim Jumpers in the civilized world only. I doubt you will find one in the backwoods there.

CrystalSword, they are great places, we have one very close. The only thing that kind of bugs us are the portions. Their portions are way to large, yes you walk out with a really large doggy bag. How about the desserts? One piece can take care of a party of four!

I have wanted to try the Mother Lode cake....but with hubby being diabetic....and I can't eat it all....I guess I will just have to pass. They could lower their prices a bit and do smaller servings, I tend to get 3 - 4 meals out of what I order there, even after we have eaten at the restaurant. There just isn't room for dessert!! (and our dogs aren't allowed people food of any kind so you KNOW who gets the doggy bags!)

Note: There is a Claimjumper in Arizona, near the Arizona Mills shopping mall, located at Interstate 10 and Southern. Their food is to die for, and, given the quantities, gquite reasonable, and the service is amazing in these day of declining customer. When I first went to a Claimjumper, I couldn't understand why the booths were so large. Now I understand that they have to be big to hold the food they bring you.

The Claim Jumpers here near Microsoft in Redmond - just like any other - has HUGE portions. Don't plan on going there for a "light snack". Geez - even the chicken Ceaser Salad I ordered for about 10 bucks lasted a few days. Great place I must agree...

Sail27, isn't that place great??? We ate there last Spring while on vacation.
