baskin robbins Complaint - Bad customer service - Ice Cream

Ice Cream - Complaint
Review by Anonymous on 2002-09-10
SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA -- I went into the Baskin Robbins on Forest Ave in San Jose. I was served by a young brown haired girl. Did not catch her name, but I have to say the young lady was very rude. I told her I wanted Mint chip single she had me repeat myself four times. My voice is normal and I can talk loud if I have to so there was no reason that I had to repeat myself so many times and when I told her to open her ears she gave me the look of death. Finally I got tired up playing the little 16 year old game that I put my 3 month old son back in his stroller and we left. I will never return to that place again.

Maybe she was having trouble hearing you. Maybe her ears were clogged from swimming or a recent plane trip. Maybe she was handicapped. Would it have killed you to speak a little louder?

You told her to open her ears and now your putting out on the internet that SHE was rude?!?
Get real (and some patience)

I am more concerned with your rudeness than the girl behind the counter. You need to open your eyes and read and think about these responses.

Some times, if we are not really familiar with certain words, or terms, it is very hard to understand what is being said to us. The girl, obviously could not understand you, or she would not have asked you to repeat it. I think we all should practice our patience and our kindness toward one another.

sounds to me, like you're an inpatient, rude, sucky customer! speak correctly, or shut your trap!it's only ice cream!

Better not go back then. Someone might ask you to repeat what you said so they get your order correct, thus giving you one less thing to complain about. Imagine how awful that would be!

were you talking with your head looking at the ice cream through the glass, because i'm sure that muffles your voice some. i think you were really rude and impatient

"when I told her to open her ears she gave me the look of death." Thats all? Shoot, I would have thrown your @ss out of the store on the spot.

Kids seem to be getting rude these days. I'm sure she and her co workers were just playing a game to see how many customers they could piss off....

What's the matter? Were you jealous that she is young and pretty and you are nothing but a fat housefrau now?

All you had to do was speak up. I'm sure that wouldn't have required a whole lot of effort on your part. There was no need to tell the cashier to "open up her ears." Maybe YOU should open up your MIND. If a friend/acquaintance/superior at work asked you to repeat yourself, would you tell THEM to open up their ears? I don't think so. You need to drop the self-righteous attitude and get over yourself.

"so there was no reason that I had to repeat myself"... actually, there was a reason- SHE COULDN'T HEAR YOU! duh.
