I ordered my wedding rings ($600) on Oct 5th 2007. I was promised by the girl behind the counter that they would be in by early the next week.. Needless to say that next Monday, they hadn't even been ordered yet. The order didn't go through and nobody followed up, then they re ordered them 3 more times.

Finally Oct 11th my ring order has gone through.. I'm now getting married in 3 days. I am told that it will now be 4-6 weeks before I get my rings. The manager Justin is a complete jerk, he doesn't care that his customers are upset, he doesn't offer to try and rush anything or fix anything. All he can repeat over and over and over is there is nothing I or Sears can do for you. If I would have known Sears was going to do this I wouldn't have shopped there.. Hell you cant even get another manager while your there.

I will be sure to tell everyone I know what Sears has done. It is going on 5 weeks and I will not have my rings until Nov 27th. Original order was done Oct. 5th.

You should have gone to a high-end jewelry store... like Wal*Mart

Cancel the order and get your money back for unsatisfactory customer service.

I agree with Ken and MRM. Cancel the order, then go to purchase your rings at a high end store. I would like to add, I don't think Ken is serious about Wal-Mart being a high end store. Try a local jeweler.

Congratulations on your upcoming Wedding Day!!

    Ken - Good one.

I'd like to echo Skye's congratulations!

Hmm maybe it's a sign. I heard Craftsman rings are guaranteed forever, so once you get them you should be set. See if you can get a Sears service plan for your spouse.

only $600? I haven't ring shopped or anything yet.. but that sounds pretty cheap to me.

If your set on those rings just borrow some other rings for the wedding, only you will know. Otherwise like stated above get your cash and hit the mall.
