NCO is driving me crazy! - AT&T Bill

I've been back and forth with AT&T for about three months now. When I switched away from them I got a whopper of a bill - I was charged $3.50/minute for my husband's calls to his family in Jamaica when the usual rate is just $0.54! I've been asking for a credit - they tell me they'll research it and give me a tracking number.

When I call back a few days later, the tracking number has VANISHED.

Now, NCO Financial must be involved...they call my house 5-8 times a day - i think they're even calling my cell phone. The wierd thing is - when you answer - most of the time it says, "Please hold for a special message" or something like that and then the line goes dead. (And no, it's not me hanging up!) They have left messages with two of my babysitters now - telling them exactly what the problem is, who the debt is with, etc.

It doesn't really bother me too much because I don't actually owe more than $50 or so with AT&T - but now that they've transferred it to the collection agency I have NO idea if it's going to get resolved.

If its only $50.00 then pay the bill and stop waisting your time by getting on a website where no one knows you and no one cares. If all you want to do is complain then talk to your family or friends they must be used to you by now but do us all a favor and get over yourself !! Have a nice day the NCO way !!!

I called AT&T and they took the payment right over the phone. I don't have to deal with the idiots at NCO. Thanks for your concern!

Bottom line most collection personnel are the bottom of the brain pool. I will try to put it were you can understand or at your level. It does not take a lot of smarts to call people names and dial a phone number, your the lowest thing there is.
