Evercom Complaint - Bad & Good Report

GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA -- I have a good & bad complaint. Lets start with the bad. Evercom was charging me at nite 5.20 Per call from an inmate and during the day was 6.10. My bill was outrageous. I said to myself it has to be a better way. Now the good..So what I did, I went to my cell phone provider and had my cell phone number changed to the area code that the inmate is at. He is in a 910 area code so I changed my cell to a 910 area code. That way I will be local to him, and the calls will only be 1.04 Per 15 min, per call..U can go to any western union and put money on it, or do it online. Just add money to your cell phone. You can also check your usage under correctional billing services. Thats what I do.
I only wished I thought of this before my house phone bill got so high. Hope this helps. Oh and everywhere they send him my number will change.

Good idea but this have any effect on your cell phone usage or do you reserve it for this purpose only?
