We recently upgraded to the front-end loader washer and dryer from Whirlpool. We went with the more expensive Whirlpool Duet series because we thought we would get an upgrade on performance.

That was NOT the case. We're disappointed with this set. It takes too long to clean, and the quick wash is ineffective. Also, the steam feature on the dryer is a complete waste of money. It is totally useless for getting wrinkles out of clothes. A standard dryer with a damp washcloth is just as effective.

I would not recommend the Whirlpool Duet to anyone.
