Our nightmare began on May 30, 2008, when we had
Direct TV installed in our home. We ask when we ordered and when installed if we would be able to get reception on the televisions with out a box. We were told yes, that would not be a problem. The
installation went smooth and everything worked for about a month.
Then the three televisions that we didn't have boxes on went out.We decided to move one box to the downstairs television and it won't work now at all. The television with the DVR is stuck on one channel and can't be used. We called Direct TV and was told that we would have to have boxes and for each box to be wired would be $50 and that since we have moved one of the boxes we could be charged with fraud. What Crap!! A word of warning. DON'T sign up with Direct TV.
If I cancel I have to pay the rest of my contract even though they have done nothing to hold up there end of the service agreement. Their only interest is profit. Customers probably don't even come second.
