Olympus Informative - Olympus Digital Camera FE340 - Digital Camera
PALOS HILLS, ILLINOIS -- I purchased the Olympus FE340 as a retirement gift with the gift certificate given to me - within 2 months I went on a big vacation and when I downloaded the pics to my laptop I found that they were not good-my once in a lifetime photo opportunity was lost. I contacted Olympus customer service and was told that I had to send the camera back for repair (a cost that I had to incur)-I did this-within the next 3 month the camera failed again-this time the volume for the movie clips did not work.
Again I was told to send the camera in for repair-again I had to pay-at this time the camera is less than 7 month old. I am totally shocked that a company as large as Olympus would not just replace an inexpensive digital camera instead of my having to keep sending it back and making me miss photo opps-is there a 'lemon law' for digital cameras?

Why would you wait until DURING vacation to "test" the camera out? If you had taken pictures BEFORE and realized they weren't good, you would have saved yourself from getting bad pictures.
