CALIFORNIA -- I went to BUY. COM to buy two ACER monitors that was advertised. Using their online ordering process I tried to order the two monitors but it ended in an error before it completed. I waited about 10 minutes and logged on to PAYPAL and checked and found that no charge had been made so I went back to BUY. COM and was able to buy the two monitors I wanted without a hitch.
About a half hour later I checked my email and found that two orders had been placed for the two monitors. I immediately went to BUY. COM to cancel the extra unordered items. I was surprised to discover they had no listed phone numbers. My only recourse was to fill out a web based email based form. I asked them to cancel the extra order using their web based form. About an hour later I received an email stating they were canceling the order. Then about an hour after that they sent me another email saying "SORRY ITS ALL READY IN THE SHIPPING PROCESS" we can not stop the order. My options according to them is to wait at home all next week to try to catch the delivery man to refuse the unordered merchandise, send the items back at my expense (nice), or just decide that I really wanted 4 monitors after all. THEY HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING.
Also to this day when I go to their site to check order status their site tells me I have no outstanding orders.
All I can say is beware and stay away from these guys.
