My dad bought a
Dell computer from my sister last year. This
computer was password protected, and my sister being 13 years old forgot what it was. So I got on the phone with the lovely
Dell customer service. First I get on the phone with someone who barely speaks English, is rude, condescending, and talks to me like I am a complete moron.
And I Quote, "Is your computer plugged in?" "Is your computer turned on?" So I end up on the phone for 3 and a half hours trying to explain to them that all I want is for someone to tell me how to disable the password. Oh but wait here comes the best part, the guy tells me that the only way to disable the password is to pay them 79$ to subscribe to their
tech support, from there they could help me fix my computer. 79$ freaking dollars. Finally I got p.o., said some not so nice words and said I would figure it out myself. He then told me that it was impossible, and once again I quote, "The ONLY way for you fix it, is to buy tech support." Well not less then ten mins. latter low and behold if you log in under safe mode you aren't required to put in a password then you simply go to user settings and disable the password.
Worthless company, pettling a worthless product, with the worst tech support/customer
service on the planet. After this and many other bad Dell experiences. Just buy a
Gateway, haven't had any problems with mine.
