John Deere Company Complaint - Don't Be Fooled By The Service Warranty You Buy Relating To John Deere - LA175 Lawn Tractor

LA175 Lawn Tractor - Complaint
Review by mooseY on 2009-05-20
SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE -- I bought the LA175 from Lowe's and the extended warranty from Lowe's. It turns out, it needed special services from John Deere right away. The on site service warranty that I purchased meant NOTHING to John Deere Dealer/Company obviously. Even the 12 month standard warranty meant nothing to John Deere. My battery was dead after 11 months. All John Deere can say is you have to bring in the tractor. You cannot just bring in the battery. I have no trailer to haul in my tractor so that they will replace the battery.

To me, this is like a purposeful arrange not to stand by their product; the biggest white elephant. How many of the owners out there has their trailer?
Just wondering.
