Dell Computer canceled my "Preferred Customer" account and placed an adverse credit report on file after their semi-educated employees failed to note my new mailing address when I ordered some ink jet cartridges. They sent the cartridges to the right place (they also had a correct telephone number) but sent the bill to a two year old APO address in South America!!!!! I had moved twice since I was at that address, and they had my new addresses as well!!!! I brought this to their attention -repeatedly - and furnished proof, to no avail.

I even

wrote the CEO. They sent me a letter expressing empathy with my "frustration." They cheerfully added that I could continue to buy their products. There are too many good companies out there to risk doing business with this one.

I am going to make a hobby of putting the word out on these creeps.
