computer two years ago. Immediately had problems that they said were virus's. Several calls in the first 6 months for the same problem. After 6 months they charged me $300. 00 in
service calls for the same problem. After the second year it died. I took it in to a local repair service, they replaced the
hard drive, then the power supply, and then the mother board, twice.
They finally called
Dell, to find out that the model that I had been sent, came with with a defective power switch, which was causing all the problems from the beginning. Because it was past the
warranty, Dell refused to do anything, eventhough they knew the computer was sent with a defective power swith.
The worst
customer service that I have ever experienced in my life, as well as poor
product quality. My motto now is "Anything But Dell", please tell anyone who will listen. The whole affair cost me almost $700.00. An expensive lesson.
