Hello,

I sold one item using my paypal account last november (november 2003). I received a letter requesting I pay them $2009.50 for a paypal debt.

July 28th I received the Letter that was dated July 9th, 2004. Why are they bugging me about debt I owe paypal when I havent used that account since last year november. And it seems odd that the letter is dated July 9th when I only received the letter July 28th. They said I need to pay them the money within 30 days of receiving the letter or send them a letter disputing it and theyll send me something back or a judgment (is that how you spell judgement , thats how they spelled it)
What do you do if your a minor?

Thanks.

I use paypal. How did you sell the item using Paypal? Tell us details.

A minor shouldn't even have a PayPal account. They state in their agreement that their service isn't available for anyone under the age of 18. If you were under 18, how did you get an account with them?

I'm willing to bet it was from selling a vehicle on ebay. Then the buyer reniged on the deal and wanted his money back but this person had already spent the money and could not come up with it. Something pretty close to that anyway.

Judgment is spelled "judgment." Only one "e" in the word. Also, why do you supposedly owe so much $$ for a Paypal acct? What did you sell?

    Paypal sucks. Nothing but problems.
