I had installed KIS 2009 (3 user version) after which my system somehow gt infected and I had to format it. Now after formatting when I went to reinstall KIS 2009 ie enter the activation code the software gives the error "Code activation procedure failed 4:14". I had sent a msg to the support team, they gave me a no. and informed that they will respond in 2 days, which never happened! I'm really disappointed with Kaspersky for this. I have been running the inactivated version, no updates! Ive paid a whole lot for this software n these guys don't have any proper customer support!

Anytime I have problems with my system or run into an issue, I google the problem first to try to fix it. You posted about this in January 2009.

You still have not been able to fix this? have you contacted the manufacturer for a reactivation code? OR, I found something about renewing the license?

I have been using Kaspersky for the last 5-6 years. I have never had any issues. I have lost my activation code. I emailed them and they emailed me the code within a few days. You could always just download the trial version, Which is teh full version, for the 30 days. Then when you get your activation code, enter into the license area and it will fully activate. Also you should upgrade the KIS2010. They give a free upgrade to the latest version for free as long as you have a valid subscription.

Well I've just paid to upgrade from KS 2010-2012.

Then when I tried to update my database it didn't work (databases corrupted). That was 1 MONTH AGO!!! I filed a tech support query, emailed Kaspersky, and filed another ticket for tech support.

HAVEN'T HEARD A WORD FROM THEM IN 1 MONTH.

In short, Kaspersky has the worst customer service I have ever experienced from any company.

(P.S. Googled for solution, and tried to re-install program, corrupt database is common bug/problem for KS so still waiting on "official" solution)

I purchased the Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 for 3 PCs in Canada and have successfully activated 2 licenses while I was in Canada. Now that I am in Singapore trying to install the 3rd license on a new laptop, I am unable to activate the license as it shows the error: Activation error. Activation code is invalid for this region
I submitted a ticket to Kaspersky via their website (request # xxxxxx147) on 21 Jan 2013 and have yet to receive any update from their support team. On 24 Jan 2013, I sent a ‘chaser’ asking for an update – NO REPLY. On 29 Jan 2013, I forwarded my ticket to the Kaspersky Lab Customer Satisfaction Department and still have not received an update. Today is 1 Feb 2013and I am unable to use the product I purchased!
