Chase Manhattan Bank Complaint

Simply abusive - Credit card

After sending the bill to the wrong address for months they finally called me. As soon as they called I sent the payment and informed them of the correct address. They continued to send bills with accumulating interest to the wrong address.
We now have a glitch on otherwise perfect credit.
It is still 720 and 797 and yet we had trouble buying a car and canceled by Sears after 40 years
and another MasterCard. They are no better then common mobsters trying to collect protection money or they destroy your credit rating.

You can also log into the Chase website by creating a username and password... to check and see if they have the correct address for you on file. If not, you can change it on your end since there seems to be some miscommunication with you and whoever you talked to via the phone.

So, you know you have a credit card. Afterall, you use it to make purchases. But, months go by, and no bill. You must know you need to pay each month, right? What to do? If it were me, I would call them. Then, I get the bill, I pay it, my credit does not get dinged.
The fact that you let this cycle repeat itself is crazy. Sorry, but I think this was your fault.

If you were aware this was happening, why didn't *you* take some responsibility and call them? They had no way of knowing that there was a wrong address, before then... so, why were you expecting them to call you? People don't pay their bills all the time.

The lack of a physical bill does not remove the responsibility of paying that bill off.

How did they get the wrong address? Did you move and forget to update the account? Why didn't you call and ask why you were not getting a bill?
