I have had a most frustrating morning just trying to get some repairs scheduled (which had been previously scheduled in September) but for whatever reason were NOT completed. Apparently because they were scheduled this confuses the Sears system and so some are coming up as complete….. I called to reschedule these free checkups having purchased 5 warranties on 5 Sears appliances several years ago.

A “customer specialist” named “Hiro” put me on hold for a full 30 minutes before coming back to the phone to tell me that she had no resolution for me. In the meantime I called Sears on my cellphone and had another customer service person re-schedule 2 out of 3 appointments – he transferred my call to customer service to deal with the third for them to re-schedule. At this point during the transfer the system hung up on me. Recognize that at this point I had been on the phone for one hour to do what I thought should take 10 minutes. I decided to give Sears the courtesy of my feedback so I called customer service and talked to “Fiona” who said she would transfer me to a supervisor. That was 23 minutes ago. I am still on hold.

At this point I am quite disgusted with Sears customer service and will not be purchasing anything more in the future.

Putting a customer on hold for thirty minutes is just insane.Do yourself a favor in the future, purchase your appliances at a local 'full service' store. You WILL get better service by people that value your business
