We spent thousands of dollar buying furniture from Value City Furniture at the Falls Church Branch. We also bought warranties for them. about three weeks ago we filed a claim for our dinning room set because the fabric is dirty we wanted them to send a technician to professionally clean it. Value city furniture was supposed to fax the receipt to them to finalize the claim.
Even though I personally called VCF to provide the fax # of their own
warranty company they failed to fax the receipt. A week after that my husband called the warranty company to find out that they never received the receipt from VCF. My husband had a copy of the receipt and decided to fax it himself. the fax went Ok and we now were expecting to see a technician soon.
Three weeks after, we haven't heard anything from them. We went to VCF where we spend our money and spoke to sales person and then with assistant manager and then to the store manager. All have one thing in common. Wanting to diffuse responsibility. non of them including the store manager felt a little bit of responsibility to take a look at our problem.
The manager by the name of [snip] actually told us that we have nothing to do with the store because his store didn't deliver our furniture (just found out about this) . He said even though we paid in his store our furniture were actually delivered by another branch of VCF. Hence his store takes no responsibility to our case. I wish I read all the review before I wasted my time and money with them. Don't go there they just don't make sense at all.
