Went to BK for breakfast and ordered a #4 combo and the price board reads $4.99. So I ordered and when I got the order it was $6.15. I asked the BK member why it was so much, she stated" that price is the value and it cost more for smal, med, and large". I ordered a small and when I looked at the ticket, they charged me an extra $.

30 for the hashbrown and an extra $ .29 for a small cofee on top of the $4.99 that was posted on the menu board. In know its not a lot of money but if you are going to advertise a combo meal then you should list all the extra $$ amounts for each size, and an other extra costs except tax. There has been numerous times when they just assume you want large and charge you extra even though you didn't up size it.

How about some explanation for this overpricing. also I would like to say Jack-in the box, McDonalds and Wendys are all cheaper than Burger King on breakfast products. What do you have to say about that???

The best thing you could have done was smile politely and say, "oh, I want the one on the board". After they have to re-make a few meals, they'll catch on.

Any QSR I've ever been to does indicate variations in price due to size somewhere on the menu. Are you absolutely sure they weren't listed? As for automatically giving you a large size, they should ask which one you would like, but if they don't you should tell them.
And the question of one being cheaper than the other, the breakfast I cook at home beats them all in price and it tastes far better.

BK does have decent breakfast croissants.

80% of Americans always order the largest size available. Also, of course Burger King costs more, the quality of food is much better. Also, only 10 Wendy's restraurants serve breakfast, and I'm willing to bet you've never been to any of them.
