I bought one of these TV's a little over 3 years ago. From what I've read, I guess I'm lucky it lasted that long. I bought it from
Walmart to the tune of $878.00 They were quite a bit more expensive then than they are now. I thought this TV would last for years. I got it home and set it up. It died in less than 2 hours.
Took it back and got another one. I took it to a reputable repair shop that has been here for as long as I can remember. They said that the only brands of TV you should buy these days are Sony, Samsung, and LG. They also said they were surprised that my
Polaroid lasted as long as it did. It would have cost between $300.00 and $500.00 to fix. Yes, Polaroid charges that much for a power supply. That is if they could even get the part. I have noticed in our local Walmart stores that Polaroids are no longer on the shelf. When you buy your next TV, it's worth paying more for a reputable brand.
