Darcars Toyota Of Frederick Complaint

Darcars Damages Your Car During Service

Don't take your car to DARCARS of Frederick, MD. They change our oil in our Camry and every time, get used oil and grease on the headliner or the sunvisor. One time they used some type of solvent to wipe oil off the engine cover which they spilled. This wiped off half the letters that say "16 valve".

We brought it to their attention so they "fixed" it by wiping the rest of the letters off instead of replacing the cover. The worst thing they did was to damage her rear bumper while in the shop. My wife immediately noticed it and was told that they didn't do it. But to quickly cover it up, they cleaned off the paint from whatever was hit then touched up the cracked area. They basically called my wife a liar and we just don't have time to deal with this right now. My wife has terminal cancer and her treatments keep us very busy. I can get the bumper fixed with insurance any time I like but DARCARS needs to do the right thing and repair it.

They refuse to help us so I am getting the word out to everyone I can to let them know what kind of "service" we receive at DARCARS of Frederick. I suggest you don't take your car there for anything and tell all your friends/family to save them grief.

Thanks.

I was going to mention to go to Youtube.com and watch how to change your own car oil. But since you very busy, attending to your wife's unfortunate illness, you may be excuse.

I wouldnt let anybody service my Jeep Cherokee, fearing that they will damage it. So, its better if you do your own maintenance, and DIY is priceless.

Wait a minute,......exactly HOW do you get oil and grease on the HEADLINER and SUN VISOR while changing oil?! The oil pan is UNDER the hood and the headliner and visor are IN the car?

LS, That's easily answered. Dirty hands.
